Settling into my second semester of community college, and already i want to shoot myself. I hear all this bs about how not having a college degree will land you in a nice career of flipping burgers. If had a shot of alcohol for every time i heard that, i would be dead by alcohol poisoning.

Im going to be honest, i really just want to live radically simple. Basically like a mix of a hobo, vagabond and monk.

However, what stops me in my tracks is my apprehensiveness towards how i will make money both on the road, and in the event that i decide to settle down.

I really wish i could just sell and donate my unneeded possessions and leave now, move out of my family's house and travel. I do hope to learn whatever i can learn while on the road.

In fact, i see my future journey as a chance to learn, network and have a blast, alot like college, except a hell of a lot cheaper, and more in tune with the world.

I just don't think i am the college type. Granted it is community college, but still, i doubt i can stay sane any longer doing this charade.

    What do you reccomend?

    Thanks.

    Or...

get with bookie-ing. Start low first in the $10-$20 range. A pool people of, say, the number 10 each under contract(s) (however is best to deal with single persons or groups) where you know where they live certain and where they work certain if not the amount of reacheable funds by bank stub. Then no way can any broke play games with those asurences concerning which person is even able to pay up beforehand.

Draw up a cheap man's contract or do it by video. Dont keep the contract on so no agents bust a newbie bookie any time soon. Leave such with a middle man (and pay such a % of course) seperate from own dwelling place.

When ready, move up into the $50-$100 range. May do it however. They risk more than the reward. Or they risk less than the reward amount--more hook line and sinker depending on what the bookie bet is on.

Seek people prospects first by not saying anything except in what questions brings up if they are into what may get a book on. The more they are into, say, drag racing or mix martial arts boxing fighting or etc, the more the hooking lure of the possibility to win money may work on 'em.

No body has to show up at any event when events come on live on cable or pay-per-view.

And on pay up day stay packing any weapon(s) just in case and/or come with a group of other trusty people.

erm you can live simply... i know alot of people with no college that support themselves and still have fun... thing is you won't have any money to save... but if money isn't really that important to you...
I am in my second year of college... I hate it at the moment... I think I am going to stop going after this year until I figure out exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life...

    Good luck

you want to live radically simple. well what are you doing right now? going to college, working a part time job at micky d's flipping burgers? If you die today, has your life been what you want it to be?

If you are always worrying about the future you will never have time to live now. so dont worry about settling down, or money or whatever.

ps: never listen to sign related's advice ;)
