Why do Americans make fun of the rest of the world?

America = the earth

we tease the brits becuase we the people (a bunch of farmers) defeated the worlds strongest military to be independent, also the WWII thing, we tease the french becuase they always seem to stab us in the back somehow, (vietnam) and for napoleons stupid sales of the Louisiana territory (hehe what a steal).

but in the end nobody likes, "the man"

 

People in other nations, hold a grudge against us bc we got out on our own and did the doing while they sat around drinking tea/wine.

We were rebels to start with, is why we left the oppression in Europe and sought the freedom of choice in the new america. If you are talking about the people or the gov, you cant interchange them, there is the gov, and then there are The People.. People are people no matter where they come from. We all want the same things out of life, a home, a family, and a way to sustain them. These are the basic desires for the majority.

It's when government gets involved, any country's government involvement, they are all the same.. corrupt and self serving and the people suffer.

The people that come to america never want to leave, they are beating down our boarders to get here to get a piece of that american pie. We pay more to have imported products shiped to us then other countries. We are ridiculed and berated bc we work our asses off to provide for our families. The government takes our money and gives it to gamblers to play with and there is no ceiling to stop them. We as The People do not want this and we clamor in the streets and in writings and protests.

The change is coming, it is just on the horizon. I hope you all are preparing for it, as that is what is being asked for. When it hits, it will affect the whole economical platform of commerce all over the planet. Unless you can grow/produce it yourself, good luck finding it.

The only ones we can change is ourselves, we should be working on our own shortcomings b4 we start on some one elses, dont you agree?

We have been protesting our government for 40 yrs, we have come a long way in less then three hundred yrs, while other countries have been established for thousands of yrs and still dont have the economical advancements america has had.

My ancesters came over across the pond and cut trails through the wilderness in covered wagons to build their homes in the new world. My mother's ppl from Scotland, my father's France. We are all part of the big picture and to break it down in groups only puts distance between the two objectives. and they are , unity as the human race.. Not one government but one people.

We need to stop spending our time and energies on argueing and start making some plans on how to unite as a ppl. There is coming a time when all babylon will crumble and we will have to depend on our own skills to survive.

Instead of whining about this and that, get busy, start making provisions for your survival. Get a new plan Stan, hop on the bus gus and get yourself freee.

Yet, doesn't even have Universal Health Care!

 

We're working on it.. ppl get health care, there are sources out there if you get sick and cannot work and need medical.

Health care will be the last thing on our minds when it all comes crashing down. Food, water and shelter will be prevalent, but that's a whole other topic.

Why does the rest of the world make fun of Americans? It's a reciprocal thing. Besides, nearly everyone in the world engages in stereotyping and such, using stereotypes no more congruent with reality than any used by Americans.

anyway, it's all in good fun for most people. we'll even deliberately make ignorant jokes just to get you guys pitching a fit, because you really seem to like doing so. i've never really met anyone as ignorant as even that article i just posted brought up; after all, you can't really know how to put someone's nose outta joint without knowing a bit about them. in addition, we americans didn't spontaneously generate out of the earth at the same time the people were spreading across africa and eurasia.

 

i say it all the time. we go back and forth until we all agree to make fun of canadians' love of the toque.

 

because the rest of the world already hates us, so who gives a fuck what we say at this point?

 

uh, because they are human? people from other countries poke fun of america and other countries. people can sometimes be judgmental pricks and not just in america.

 

Well, not quiet the worlds end, but the system of things as we know it. It has already begun and is building momentum as time goes on. When it does reach it's peak the future of humanity will be decided by who has made preparation.

When the economics hit rock bottom for the USA, the ripple effect will be felt around the world. Small nations will topple along with us, even great nations will fall.

It would behove ones from others countries to make ready for the change that is coming for us all. United we stand, divided we fall. We are all ONE People, members of the Human Race. We must think on this level to be part of the change that is upon us.

you know, i don't know how it happened, but many people the world over see us americans as practically a whole different species. it keeps them from seeing our behavior and habits reflected in their own behavior and habits. people are people. y'all have "rednecks," too, they're just called something different.

^^^Very true.--Another factor is the American media ie:CNN,Fox etc.... that is shown in many countries of the world nowadays.American media has 'become' one of the worst in the world.Do NOT view American media unless you want a very distorted view of things.They(US. media) often feature so-called experts that put down certain other countries,when they have no clue what they are talkin' about.--I've travelled extensively and I can candidly say America is not the best country in the world--not anymore at least.

 

American media pretty much is the scum of this earth. It is the propaganda machine and the mouth of the government.
