Hi all, I struggled with bulimia for a few years although i hid it well because i never got down to super skinny like you see in the pictures. once i got help and actually started eating again i piled on all the weight i lost plus a bit more so now im the heaviest i have ever been. there are days where i just don't care and am happy to be myself and love my body, even if it is technically 6kgs overweight, but then there are the days where i get super low over it all and its so hard to keep an open mind and appreciate the wonderful body ive been given. does anyone else get low like that too? what tips do you use to encourage you and help keep an open free mind?
Speaking as someone who's old enough to be your ... umm ... older sister, I can tell you that there are only three things that really matter ... your family, your friends, and your health. If you are in good physical condition, you eat properly, and you feel healthy, then don't worry about your weight. It's the effect, not the cause.
i have fat days toooo, its all good. most of the time im very happy with my body & my weight, but days like today, im on a bit of a downer, and when that happens i always neglect my health.. im about 8kgs overweight (in medical terms) but it suits me, im happy, i love my body
I can't really give you any advice. I can't stand to see myself in a full length mirror. I try to focus on the positives and surround myself with people who think I'm beautiful just the way I am. (I guess I keep hoping that I will see myself the way they see me.)
If its not one thing its another. I know its hard to accept yourself, but its just somethin youve gatta do! It really doesn't matter what other people think... even though I know it feels like it does. Hopefully you can just be happy with yourself. I've never seen you, but you are beautiful! I don't need to see you to know that, and neither does anyone. Don't worry about it girl, just be happy!
Take a hammer and smash your bathroom scale. In the future, if you want to know how much you weigh, run up a flight of stairs. That will give you the data need to determine if you are too heavy.
