Without joking: i would like to be free just to get naked if my inspiration tells me. Though i am able to live nudity in parts of my life, there are a lot of main situations i'm expected to act 'normally', for example not to put my rags off if it comes into my mind. There are friends, my home, my vacations, some certain events etc. i can pratice nude living, but there are (still?) a whole lot of settings i can't due to social restrictions and norms. Or sometimes i just don't dare, what gives the same result. I hope you understand right: i don't want to go nude everywhere and everytime, but i would like to be more free to do so whenever i am game for.

As someone mentioned nude backpacking: you should try, it's a wonderful free experience. But you should care either to have a light and ergonomic backpack or even better someone who carries your stuff. Hiking a whole day with a heavy backpack on bare sweating skin isn't very comfortable and gives you sore hips and shoulders for sure. And i guess it's better to go with a buddy, as least if you go somewhere you expect to meet other hikers, just to prevent getting in trouble (some innocents my think you're a pervert or so). afaik it's legal to hike nude in US national parks btw.

For the others mentioning swimming nude: it's the best and natural way, a great feeling, and you don't need to care about wet swimsuits etc. My experience tells that even at non-nude swimming spots people accept someone swimming in the nude if you just ask and behave nice. And if you keep some distance, no one cares anyway. So you should try when summer is back! Good luck!

 

I'd love to SKYDIVE!! Something about the free fall sounds great! Although, it might be pretty cold, so I'd probably want to try with my clothes first.

When I was living in Moscow, I had to travel only forty-five minutes to reach a clothing-optional stretch of beach along the Moscow River. First the first and only time in my life, outdoor social nudity became part of my daily routine. Even though I was living in a foreign country where street crime was rampant, I felt more relaxed than I ever have, before or since.

That's all I'm really looking for: A place to be nude, under the sun and in good company, for a couple of hours ever day.

 

i would love to go about the regular mundane activities nude. i hate shoes and clothing and it would be great just to run around nude on those summer days here in the deep south.

in college, i did a strip and drove my chevrolet chevette nude on the interstate. i got some reactions from truckers on the road. all were positive from blowing horns to thumbs up. it was pretty cool.

 

i want to go on a full nude hike. not just a quick stroll in the woods when nobodies looking but a full, walking several miles in the hills naked with just a backpack hike.

 

Are there no nude hiking groups in the UK? Recently, many nude hiking groups have emerged and also organize via the WWW, taking regular nude hikes covering distances up to 20 kilometres.

Here in Germany, "Nacktwandern" (nude hiking) has become a phenomenon with a growing number of participants. I read a hiking report about a group of 52 people hiking skyclad in the Rothaargebirge on Whitsun weekend 2007.

Perhaps more than 50 people is a bit too much, however, being in a group of people when taking a nude hike is a lot easier than doing it alone.

Nude hiking seems to be a regular response here. I've done this many, many times and it is great. Fair word to the wise though ... folks in the Northeast US are waaaay uptight about this subject so choose your destination carefully. I've never been "caught" so to speak. A few hints if you're gonna do it and don't want a potential confrontation:

- Hike on a weekday;

- Choose a destination (peak) where there is only one way in and one way out. That way, if you are the only car in the parking lot, you know you're safe at least for the hike in. I usually dress for the hike out;

- Start early and choose a less popular location that doesn't see much traffic to start with;

- Carry a pair of shorts in your hand just in case you are surprised unexpectedly.

Remember, it's not legal in most places so be prepared to deal with the consequences if the wrong person sees you.

I used to battle with folks on Northeast hiking forums about this. There is just no convincing some folks. It's unfortunate that some can't separate sex from nudity. I've never gone nude hiking with the desire to be "seen." It's a true naturist activity from my point of view.

But, since this thread is about things you have never done nude but want to, I'll chime in with a nude beach and nude resort. There's a particular nude beach in Vermont I'm jonesing to go to but haven't and I'm considering a visit to a nude resort later this year during a planned trip out west. I'm kind of a closet nudist so public nudity has never really been my thing.

 

I like to go into court with white socks & Nikes,s(nothing else) , carrying an umbrella and wearing a top hat > then plead insanity for not putting a quarter in that freakin parking meter close to the beach at the Jersey shore !!
