I finally got my sailboat, 32ft sloop, she's not ultra pretty but a bit of paint, some interior work and some love and it will be awesome.

I'm planning on moving on to it this summer, and sailing around vancouver island, before heading south to mexico, and on through south and central america, through the panama canal and into the carribean (SP)..

I'm a pretty laid back 27 year old guy, I've hitchhiked the world, travelled lots of countries so this seems like the next logical step. I'm looking for someone thats into coming along, the boat is big enough to be comfortable for 2 has most ammenities, and is alot of fun, ideally you'll be a fun chill girl who is into good music, sun, exploring random places, getting caught in storms, and having adventures all over the place.

it' would be cool if you knew how to sail or are at least comfortable on the water, and if your into taking off for who knows a few months to a few years.

I'd like to find someone who is into the whole trip however long that ends up being and who is also into writing, as I'd like someone to co write a docu/journal of the trip when its all over for a book.

but I'll settle for someone who likes the sound of trip..

drop me a line if you might be interested.

I live on a 40 foot sailboat in Philadelphia that I've been fixing up for the last few years. I've rebuilt pretty much everything myself-electrical, fiberglass work, water, engine-pretty much everything.

I'm probably sailing south early next year.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I've researched pretty much everything-and thought it all over.
