Dude you hippies need to grow out of your peace and love and barefeet and cheese fads quick. It just kinda freaks me out to know that about 48% of the people on this site are hippies! Hippies are for the 70s. It is 2004! Do something different!

Hahaha. Thanks for the laugh :D

If you want to put stereotypes to a certain decade, you do know that the 80s are over, right? Cut your god damn rattail and take off those stupid leather jackets!

It was just a wild crazy guess...lets narrow it down to 12%...Is that better?

I'd bet 48% of the forum members even post. How would you know?

    PS: punk sucks, fuck off.

No, that makes no difference. Your wild guesses demonstrate a level of low education... which denies you any creditable say on anything on this site.

Dude...the spirit of the hippie is ever lasting. A hippie is not defined by appearance but by the principles that he/she hold dear in their heart and soul. Peace and love are eternal...and they are always despirately needed...and as long as there is heartache, evil, injustice...ect. in this world...there will always be the hippie spirit...trying to bring the balance...whether the balance starts to lean to their favour (like the 60s/70s) or whether they are in hiding...the hippie rises and falls like good and evil...but the spirit of the hippie is always alive and well as long as the human spirit has the ability to overcome...the ability to hope, dream, and love...

I'd say more around the area of 5%.

I'm still peace-loving, barefoot, and I have long hair. Your post didn't affect me at all :)
You don't have to be a hippie to be yourself. Maybe you should stop stereotyping yourself...lemme guess, you've got a mohawk and you where ugly ass plaid, and yet you still claim to not conform to anything. Go listen to some good music :D

Hey there Billy Idol, the 70's and the hippy movement was a truly historic event. A turning point in global consciousness.
The 80's, well let's see....Disco, uh huh.... and punk, well the Sex Pistols were cool, even if they were way too violent, and of course the O.D.s don't reflect too well. But thank God the 80's had one saving grace, ACDC, Scorpions, Judas Priest, etc., Heavy Metal... If not for that the whole decade was a write off.

Well wait now. The mohawk is'nt a bad thing. In the beginnings, it was a great thing. It held a message. Now, it holds shit. Most of these kids don't know why they have it(or why they should). Just clearing some things up.

Yeah... this is kind of a hippie site. I don't think many people would say nice things if I went to a punk rock forum and told them to quit being punks :p

I don't care whether I appear to be stuck in the past or not. I'm not that worried about what others think.

But thanks for creating a bit of humour, it gave me a chuckle
