How about a corporate dictatorship in which the politicians and media are owned by the corporations, where greed and corruption are rewarded with huge pay checks and stock options, while honesty and hard work are "rewarded" with pay cuts and layoffs...

...wait a minute, isn't that what we have now?

Exactly, and what is that called...US democracy, the very thing we are waging war to spread?

Our State Department can't operate without their hired mercenaries (Blackwater), but this is the form of government we wish to spread.

our need to be governed is the most critical part of the illusion that has become our cage. next comes the need to believe in a deity which is also intertwined with our need to be governed/herded.

we have loitered enough within the cage which is in fact -ironically- not there at all.

though I'm hopeful for the future :)

Not even close, people like to mesh Fascism and Nazism when they feel like the government is too controlling.

No, the U.S. Government is more like, cnetrist conservatives which use media to control the public and have a wavering control over which rights they grant in order to appease the masses enough so there is no violent uprising.

    That's not fascism at all.

Fascism is a system which relies on constant productivity and a strict law enforcement.

    The U.S. has neither.

In fact most of the productivity in the U.S. comes from foreign sources, you know how the U.S. government gives HUGE grants to foreign scientists so they come over to the U.S.? ETC

Also, a Fascist government would have a superior education system in place whereas the U.S. is...........like mentioned above.

The only thing about democracy (technically a repbulic, which is preferable) that is positive that I can see is the first few rules in the constitution that have the sole purpose of protecting individuals from the tyranny of the majority. Whoever you put in front of the word kratos doesn't matter to me, so long as the non aggression principle is followed that's all I care about.

I chose Anarchy, but then it wouldn't be a form of government it would just be a big community of people working together. And of course I still think that a government shouldn't really be in power anymore, for a government in power just means that a handful of people have power of others who don't directly decide their fate as a nation or at a more national community. So Anarchy would be the only way to COMPLETELY control the "government". Or to to simplify it is the only way that we as a people can control our lives as we like. :cheers2:

There is no Polity on the list. Aristotle stated that a Polity is a democracy that is governed justly. Aristocrats who are unjust are oligarchs, and Monarchs that rule unjust are tyrants. Plato would argue that a Philocracy would be the only way to ensure the most just form of government with virtue and rational thought being the ultimate goal of the just city. However, these Utopian governments have yet to exists... so Id say democracy just becuase I live in one :)

Democracy is five wolves and 1 sheep taking a vote about what to eat for lunch. The Constitutional Republic as envisioned by the founding fathers of the U.S. is my vote for the best type of government. Very small federal government with the power of government increasing as you went closer to the individual communities.

The best form of government is a benevolent dictatorship....ok, that sounds crazy but hear me out.

with a kind king, the red tape and beaurocracy is gone. In democracy, you have division. in a monarchy where everyone loves the king and knows and trusts him to do the best for the people, there is no division, no elections, no arguing, but ther eis unity, peace, no need for voting and all that .
most people do not know th edifference between a democracy and a republic.
a democracy is mob rules. whatever the majority says, goes......if majority vote to take away your rights, then you have your rights taken away.....in a republic, it is the rule of law, not the whimsof the majority who can be brainwashed by mass media, like germany was, when hitler turned it from a republic of the rule of law to a facist democracy, the whims of the majority, who ushered hitler into power, to become a dictatorship..... democracy can be turned into dictatorships.
Anarchy is not good because you at least need a little government, but a constitutional republic with a libertarian view is good.....keeping governemnt small. the only thing missing is some amendments added to the constitution for minimizing the size and power of corporations...... so checks on government is there, just need to get back to constitutional governemnt, then add some amnedments for control of the corporations....the whole priciple of the constitution was to control power, but they missed some laws limiting corporations..... thats that is needed, but since i beleive in the return of Jesus CHrist, ultimately, the Monarchy he is comign to set up is the best, with no division over voting and such....no more arguing, but perfect knowledge is coming, so no need for division.

Democracy with minimal government and maximum personal rights is the only way to go if you ask me.
