Okay here's a question, if the government is giving this money to the Banks in the hopes that they will lend it to others, which may not happen.

Why doesn't the government just give it straight to the people and cut out the middleman?

Can the government really be so inept so as to do a worse job than the Banks already have?

If the bailout package was poured into Social Security instead of the Banks would Social Security need fixing anymore?

Yeah, let the old people that faithfully paid into Social Security thinking that the government would have the money with interest for them when they retired, if they don’t have bread; well, let them eat cake!

thats what I am thinking. If we divide all that money up and get our fair share then we can burn it for ash wednesday. that's all its gonna be worth anywho.

That's exactly why I never view those speeches anymore.Hillary or Edwards would have made a far better President than him.But the media gave and continues to give Obama a free ride.Aint it cute though,America has a black Pres.LOLz.

 

That would make alot more sense than bailing out the banks.---Lets say give every US citizen over age 21 who earns for example,under $100,000 a year a nice big check.Nothing for the rich,they have gotten a free ride far too long.--.Also alot of other simple and practical things could be done.Obama may wind up being better than Bush,but how much better?
