Any Catholics trip during lent?

In 30 years I've never tripped during lent. I was always scared of a bad trip with Jesus not around, sounds funny but I'm superstitious. Seriously considering a trip Fri, should I go for it ?

i have no idea how he interprets that as jesus not being around,after all,last i checked he was dead. that would pretty much make him not around 24/7.

 

yeah, I knew you gave up something. Get your ashes tomorrow I believe. But the whole Jesus being absent messed with me. I am not Catholic at all but had NEVER heard anything of the sort.

 

I was raised catholic,and i dont get the statement either..

 

The 40 days Jesus spent in the desert tempted by Satan can mean to some Catholics that Jesus is sort of "removed" or means you are also vulnerable to temptation

I am not a religious freak or anything but I get superstituous when it comes to psychedelics.

Just wondering if others raised Catholic have had good trips during Lent?

My friend who is catholic tripped with me last year on lent, twas great trip.

Granted, he's not a super devout catholic...

 

It depends on how important faith is to you.
