We have been having some problems with the house we are renting. Our landlord is a good landlord and has been paying for repairs ect...

Well, last night, she comes over and tells us that due to the financial hardships everyone is facing, they need to sell the house. I still have a little bit, and she says she is going to try to work it so that my family and I can have three months from the time it is sold to find another place. I don't blame the landlord, she has been the best landlord I have ever had. The fact of the matter is that I am not well off financially and can't afford most of the places around. Unless I want to move to the ghetto or gangland. I am not talking that I want to move to an upety neighborhood or anything, but most of the areas I could afford I would be afraid to let my family walk outside. It really just seems like one of the worst times that this could happen, especially with baby 3 on the way in about 4 months. Deep down inside I know that everything will work out, but I am feeling a bit stressed. I just don't know what to do, I feel that we were extremely lucky to find this place. Granted there is a lot of bad stuff that happens here as well, but in comparison to other places..... Having my car broken into a couple of times is better than having my family caught in a crossfire from a gang war.

I am just venting. I really try to play it cool around my wife and kids, I don't want them to have to deal with the stress. I encourage them and say "we will find someplace better". The reality is that My credit is a pile of poop and I am poor as hell and getting really stressed. My vehicle is falling apart and really isn't very safe for driving my family around, but I can't afford repairs. I really just don't know what to do. I'll figure it out though. Just really sucks. At least it is starting to warm up a little outside.

these are the obstacles you find in the way of making a family-

a more realistic approach: BEG FOR ANOTHER JOB.

What state do you live in? I've heard of underground programs in places where the foreclosure rate is high that try and connect people to the abandoned houses, since there's so many homes just sitting empty while all these people are homeless. It's ridiculous.

Time to take advantages of your states welfare programs! My wife and I are currently living with her parents due to the same situation (house being sold). Be sure to rid yourself of any unneeded mental clutter - use your energy sparingly!

My parents recently tried selling two of their rental properties. They informed both their tenants and the properties ended up not selling. So not to brush false hope on you but with the economy like it is.... if it doesn't sell in a certain time frame they might not make you move....

I wish you the best of luck.
