Who's that? I know it's not you. I guess that could be cool, if they let you do so... Why don't someone try it out? (not me, i suck at bowling ;))

I tried it once, though it's a little hard to slide in which you need to when you deliver the ball over the lane.

I first saw this done when I took phys ed during the summer in order to fulfill my gym credit back in high school. I saw this girl bowling barefoot and remembering asking how she could do it barefoot. She told me to take off my shoes and socks and give it a try, I gave it a try, but the bowling shoes work better.

    Nice pics there anyways!

I agree, bowling is one thing that is easier in shoes. For those of us who know how to bowl, you need to slide your feet. Unless you get you feet really dirty so they slide, it would be hard to do I think...

to the people that have done it, has anyone ever said anything about the dangers of dropping a bowling ball on your foot? using that as an excuse for you to not be able to do it? If so, get one of them to drop a ball on their blowing-shoe'd foot... to demonstrate how much (or should i say how little) protection it actully proves ;)

Somehow I have a hard time believing that anyone who makes such a big deal out of going barefoot could ever get even remotely violent to prove a point. Heh. You're all a bit too wallflower-y.

what if you drop the ball on one of your feet  , my God, I know you wouldn't want that to happen.

You'll have to then send pictures, of what's left of your bloody foot, hahaaha :)

I'm not being funny, but I've already made the point that it's going to hurt, if you drop a ball on your foot, regardless if you're shoe'd or not..

But he's made a good point of the "depth" to which those who oppose barefooting have thought-out their arguments.

You know, like, "Eww, your feet are unsanitary in this restaurant: put on some flip-flops or sandals!" Yeah, great logic these people use.
