They will be tighter and neater looking by then, I'm sure.

If not, couldn't you just put them in a nice professional looking tam?

    How long are they?

If I know anything about men's annoyingly fast hair-growth rates (grr) you'll definitely be in ponytail territory by then :p ;)
You'll probably be able to get some tied back, and maybe someone could help you with some discretely positioned hair-pins to keep the rest in place.

The "discretly positioned hair-pins" that amybird mentioned would work really good.. Thoes can achieve wonders as far as creative dread styles that are nice and proper looking, for a formal affair such as yours...

You could probably even temporarily sew some dreads in place...that might feel more secure. Or use wax hahaha  :p

can't you use a headband. Like a black one which covers half of the dreads and then make a little ponytail at the back.
    Something like in my sig.

My dreads grew from 4/5 inches to I think they are about 6 now on the top over 8 months, and can put 'em nicely into a pony tail :) In 5 months yours will be about the same!! If they dont all fit in you can do the pony tail aand stick a headband around the ones at the front :) or leave the ones at the front danglin' xD

Congrats at your bro ^^ And you for being best man :D

if u need extra tiding ofcourse use a lil aloe vera.. straight from a plant or 100% pure gel fromrefridgerated section of health food stores
aloe should be the only ingredient if u buy it tho
maybe a week b4 experiment with how much to use u dont need alot
headbands and poneytails are ok but u can also kinda weave the dreads in more formal ways sorta like a corn row i guess pulling each back from the front and sides tucking the loose ends under other dreads and using a ..what are thoise things called that are used to hold pony tails like an elastic but wrapped in thread or something..use 1 of those to secure the ends of the very back ones
or alternately u can do the same but in 2 rows pulling it from the center and sides along either side of your head into 2 rows

a week or 2 before the wedding experiement with different styles till u find something you like

How do you use aloe to tidy em up? I have a few leaf/spikey things on mine that are bending and falling off, wanna do summat with 'em, don't wanna waste them xD

lol id have to see what iu mean by leaf spiky things and benfding and falling off
but aloe can be useed to smooth down frizz
and tame the halo look and fuzzy dread look
like wax is used but it rinces out clean with water and is very good for hair
its conditioning too so use only as needed
but it also shrinks as it dries sucking everything together to look tighter
    but again..use only as needed
    overuse can cause over conditioning
