https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5QwktidFBo&feature=related i just thought all u fellow dreadheads would want to comment on this. i couldnt believe this guy
I don't have dreads, would never want them... nothing against them. Anyways, that guy is a fucking tool.
well i didnt see it so i apologize. i just wanted to see what you guys thought about what he has to say about wax
just watch him bounce around all over the place and his stiff sticky dreads never move at all ignore him acting like an idiot and telling lies and watch trhe dreads but on the subject of lies..remember him saying yes wax traps dirt if u stick it to a wall but once in a dread dirt cant get to it? think as momment..if sticky gobs of wax can penetrate the dread..why cant dirt? ofcourse once its in there trapped in wax ya cant get it out
Where am I missing that at??? I see him sitting at a desk chatting..they seem to swing at the bottom. Where is he jumping. I wanna see him jump damn it!!!!
Um. I see nothing particularly wrong with the content of the video at all. The information is slightly biased, obviously, but he makes some very good points. I would have enjoyed it more if the advertising wasn't such a heavy influence. Seriously, I think what he says makes sense. Too much of anything is bad, and a little of everything can be good. A little bit of wax is not going to turn you into a walking candle nor will it make your head a lint magnet. Wax is not needed for dreads, but it's also not devil spawn. I think his dreads look great now, for what it's worth.
I dont like the way his lips curl around his mouth when he speaks nor do I like the sound of his voice. His dreads are also too well manicured for my liking as well. I didnt watch the whole vid cuz I couldnt get passed those things. But uh...the ongoing controversy of wax vs. no wax is annoying to me anyways. Who cares. Use it or dont....its up to the individual.
The link that Amy posted a little while ago of the experiment that someone is doing over at dreadlocktruth.com should be really interesting. I cant wait to see the results. http://dreadlocktruth.com/community/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1745&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
I love how he advises you put even more shit in your hair. Because the wax makes it sticky you know, "put dread butta on top, you won't feel the stickyness!". Huh.
I agree with Annie Anxiety, He trys to sell another product... the people that use wax miss the whole meaning of dreads. Ya they look cool as hell, but dreadlocks, to me, is about letting go with how people are supose to look, with all the materialistic people needing the latest trend an all that. Along with finding peace in myself.
i hate that too. in other videos he also says to use lock peppa to help the dreads tighten with you wax *but wax is suposed to do that* meh. and i dont like how his lip curls like someone else says. I always get the feeling that he hates talking about wax being good. and the over use of effects. HOLY GODNESS I JUST NOTICED HES GOT THE OTHER PARTS UP!!!! - he also said you can get dread wax out with hot water, AND (dreadhead)DREAD SOAP
if you wanna see his dreads in action im pretty sure thats him at 5:15 in the truth about wax video part B "4 yrs- A few reasons. I wanted to try thinner dreads, I spend a lot of time in the water and thin dreads dry faster and gain length faster. I wanted the experience of locking my own dreads again...I learned a lot cause I was able to experiment with them...I also wanted to do them again without any bleaching. I like the natural look and I like knowing that they are all natural and chemical free. I was also able to follow our updated maintenance and instructions that are on the site currently..
