goin' cross country (ontario to BC), want a ride?

So the plan is southern Ontario to BC (exact location TBA) at the end of april, I'll want to arrive in BC for the start of May.

I have room for 1 in my truck, 2 would be a squeeze but is not out of the question.

If your interested and serious, give me a shout

no minors, phycos, criminals or anyone smellier then me (which gives you a bit of leeway casue I can get kinda stinky sometimes).

oh and gas would be split 50/50

 

what is the purpose of your trip? I would come along but I`d need to be able to get a random job to stick around.

I am set on ending up in BC for May as well. I'm very flexible with my plans though. If you would go through Winnipeg, or if I could meet you somewhere that you will be going through in Manitoba, I would totally come along. I'm looking for some more experienced vagabonds to go out there with. I meet all of your requirements, haha. Get back to me if you're interested.

To be honest I'm hoping to find someone who can come along for the whole trip. Getting to the peg would be about a thrid of my gas cost, and I'd rather not have to pay that all on my own.

Damn. My exams finish April 19th.

You're more than welcome to spend a night here and eat my food if you need to. I'm in London, Ontario but I think you are in the Green Belt area so it may not be on the way. You are going through Canada and not the USA eh?

 

Actually I'm not finished exams until the 24th I think, and I was hoping to be on the road by the 26 or 27th.

and ya it'll defineatly be through canada so I wouldn't be going down through london. If you're interested though I could meet you half way in toronto to pick you up.

 

just crossed the country but in the opposite way ...drove from alberta to new brunswick in 5 days ...even waved when i drove though moonbeam ...lol

It's possible that I might be. My brother just got back from touring with his band out west and Vancouver for 7 weeks and is going back out that way in the next while again. So if I can co-ordinate a ride back home with them, it might work.

But I'll have to get back to you. I need to confirm the dates and show schedules with them. I'll let you know what's going on in the next while. But if you find someone who really needs a ride out there, you can go ahead and give it to them.

I've never been out west, and it would be a good time to go.

BTW, how do you feel about Charbonneau getting canned?

 

oops, I thaught I replied to this last week, my bad

bum deal with Carbo, he got blamed for the shitty level of play from some key players (kovalev, Price, Higgins, etc, etc). I don't think Gainey will work any miracles either, if anything I think they stood a better chance with Carboneau. time will tell

as for the ride let me know if you change your mind but I will likely keep looking just in case. you were the lead choice at it stood
