"CHIEF-IN'" like cheif-ing.....get it.....come on...you do Is this a common phrase for refering to smoking...or is it something my friends came up with? I just can't remember how this term came about...so if this is widley used it would be awesome to now...or we could go on thinking we made it up....and are therefore believe we are way cooler than we actually are....
Yeah, i use it alot. Dunno where it came from, but my bet would be from the image of an Indian Cheif smokin a big piece pipe.
Never heard that one myslef. We usualy call it Gumbo since none of our parents know that one. Spark Up and Blaze, too, but never heard Chief in.
awesome....i was assuming it was a widley used phrase....but I have no idea where we came up with it....funny
my friends and I refer to people takin more than their fair share of hits as "chiefing the joint" (or whatever smoking device)
ive always heard people use cheif when they want just a drag or a hit and thats it. they say "hey man, can i cheif that," take their hit/drag, and thats it.
*FUNNY STORY* Well I had always thought cheifin' was a really common word used for smoking. I use to hear people say it all the time or so I thought until this happened. The first time I used that word I was totally blazed and I asked a friend of mine if he wanted to go chef and he turned to me and was like what the fuck are you talking about? So I got really confused and though I had just made the shit up in my head. And ever since that I thought I made it up. HAHAHAHAHA!!! …but this cleared it up for me. Wow! I'm stupid.
I always use cheif(in'), like "hey lets cheif on this bowl", never figured out why i say it, cuz none of my friends use it as much as i do. Also say Blaze(in') or Burn(in')
i use cheifin on occasion but not much its usually blazing, tokin, or just smoke me and my friends usually say smoke like elts go smoke and shit cuz our parents know we smoke cigs and they figure thats what we are talkin bout.
I was told Chiefin' comes from the appearance of a Native American Indian Chief puffin on the peace pipe.
