I have heard of 4-Methylmethcathinone encountered with differing physical characteristics: (1) Color: white (slight gray) Moisture: none Texture: Very tiny (powdered) crystal. Noticeable crystaline structure given slight reflective quality. Smell: ...typical mephedrone* (2) Color: white (slight gray) Moisture: slight clumping (residual solvent?) Texture: Obvious cylindrical structure approximately 0.5mm in length. Smell: ...typical mephedrone* *Vanilla fish bleach (?) What are your thoughts for varying physical attributes? Why would some consist of a fine powder and some of a crystalline structure? From what I hear, all marquis test results are the same - no reaction. Some people report slight yellow color but I understand this is simply due to the color of the marquis reagent. Thanks in advance.
It's just differences in how it's synthesized. Powders are just finely ground crystals. As for it being moist it could just be in the way it was stored, or residual solvent. It should not smell like anything you've smelt before. 4-MMC and methylone have distinct chemical smells and tastes.
