do know how many brain cells the average human brain has? tons, millions upon millions. even if you bashed your head into a wall all day while huffing chemicals and smoking weed and getting drunk, you wouldnt run out of cells until you were about 500 years old.

 

humans only use about 15% or 10% of their brain power...

 

True you wouldn't run out of cells but you'd kill off important cells after a while...

this is a common mistake when the 'humans use less than 10% of their brains' came out. it means that its less than 10% of the brain is made up of neurons.

I hate hearing about stoners being dumb. being unintelligent is different to being slow. stoners are slow. intelligence is completely different. you cant measure intelligence on school stuff. you can tell how intelligent someone is by having discussions with them. -most- of the people who get good marks in school are actually really stupid. the smartest people i know are often around the second grade from the top (i guess you could say, B students). this has been consistent with my observations ever since i noticed it.
Unintelligent people can get good marks.
weed ruins unintelligent people.

I have worse concentration and memory, and that comes across as me being stupid. but thats jsut like.. messy typing makes me look stupid..

still, if the smartest person in teh world couldnt communicate, then they become the 'dumbest' person in teh world....

 

Misinformation. Humans only use about 10% of their brainpower at ANY ONE TIME. If we used all of it, we'd be using the parts for every muscle movement (including, for example, muscles to extend the arm and contract the arm...it'd be like a massive seizure, bones would break), we'd be feeling every emotion, remembering every memory...it'd be horrible. But only for a second, because after about that long of 100% usage, all the cells would die of electrocution (imagine the electrical currents running through every neuron at once!). It'd be intensely painful, or it would if we had a brain left to feel pain.

Be glad and satisfied with your 10%, friend.

 

Eh, different amounts of pot have different effects on everyone...

So as for smarter or dumber, ambitious or burnt, you just cant paint everyone with the same brush.

 

Explain how pot would eliminate brain-cells? THC is the only chemical getting into your bloodstream, and it certainly dosn't kill brain cells...alcohol on the other hand....


But I do agree with the original poster, people who smoke pot daily, during the day, lose their memory, there is no denying that....

 

I have been smoking pot almost everyday for about 4 years now and the only problem I have seen with this is memory lose.

 

I smoke everyday and maintain a 3.3 gpa. I treat myself to marijuana every night right after doing homework I feel that setting a goal and giving myself a reward every day has been helping me out to make a better future...everyone should smoke every day!!!
