ween are the funniest band i can think of and still manage to take seriously. they are so much fun and they come up with the most creative and catchy and funny melodies! they also create the best characters in almost everyone of their songs, pure genius! they can pull of any genre and make it sound as serious or as irreverent as they please. SEE THEM LIVE. the lead singer has so much stage presence its unbelievable

    ween is the greatest.

whoever posted before me said it perfect: the funniest band that you can still take seriously.
i love ''spinal menangitis''... ''roses are free'' is great (much more than the phish cover)...and who can forget ''push the lil daisies''?!

I think you're referring to The Gourds version of that song. I haven't heard it myself, but have read about it several time and apparently all over the internet this song gets attributed to either Ween or PHiSH, but neither have ever covered it. (What?!?! The interent is wrong?!?!) But The Gourds have. The Gourds are a bluegrassy rockabilly group from Austin, Texas. They're great (but not as great as WeeeeeeeN). Check em out.

The first time I heard of Ween was in South Park, you know, "There's many colors in the Homo Rainbow, don't be afraid to let your colors shine!"
