what are your experiences with this?
i just bought it, and i realize i should take it right away but i am hesitant. theres nobody i can really ask about it, but i read on the internet about possible side effects?

any ladies out there that have taken it... what side effects did you experience? and was plan b effective?

The one woman that I bought it for experienced no significant side effects...The fact that she was batshit crazy was not a result of using the pill. What a wonderful world we live in, where a 24 hour Walgreens will help you recover from a drunken mistake at 4 am...

Plan B pill: $40

Making sure that a batshit crazy 18 year old doesn't ruin your future:
PRICELESS

but considering all of the unwanted children (poor things) and condoms breaking and birth control not always working, i think it is a good thing. You don't have to worry about abortion or hurting a fetus.

plan B works 7/8 times
and everytime you take it it becomes less effective if you use it consistantly.

as i learned in health class

I've taken plan b three times in my life, and every single time, it's made me itch down there. It's horrible, but hey...gotta do whatcha gotta do. Only one of the times did it bring on my period early...which was the heaviest, most painful, crampiest period I'd ever had in my life, by the way.

I've taken plan B once. I actually didn't experience any adverse effects with it. Basically just wound up with a period exactly the same as my regular ones.

Um, wow. Maybe you shouldn't ruin your own future by sticking your penis inside of a "batshit crazy" 18 year old. Just a thought. You participated in this activity as well, no?

um, wow yourself.

judge much?

anyway, how does one go about 'ruining their future'? the only way I can conceive of is by dying -- effectively eliminating a future at all.

Took it once, after my period was slightly delayed quite likely due to stress or uncertainty if it worked. No side effects I can remember.

i used plan b in Nov and i had no side effects at all. i was a little stressed/depressed but i think that was just the fear of being a mommy and remorse for being so irresponsible. i wont take it again though. yay birth control!

dont worry, you will be fine. a few of my friends have taken it.
The only side effect she got was her period changed like the time is started and ended.
And it cant harm you, so i think you should deff take it.

I've taken it once and didn't notice any difference with anything. It just depends, really, on a lot of factors. If you react badly to hormonal birth control, you likely won't react well to the morning after pill. I react fine to most hormonal birth control, so it was a breeze for me.

FYI, the morning after pill is birth control.

its not taken regularly as birth control. you shouldnt be taking it daily.. i.e. its for emergencies ONLY

It should also be said here that normal birthcontrol will NOT work as a plan B.
