I can do this as well. It more starts in my legs, but I can move it to any part of my body. When I was a child, I could do this to the point where it was unbearable. I would get dizzy and tired afterwards. Now when I do it I can barely feel it, but I rarely if ever do it anymore. Its weird
I still say it's called chargeing and is the ultimit of basics when it comes to energy working and direct magick.
I can do the same thing. Its always strongest and easiest in the legs. But i can make it go all through my upper body.
yea i can do the same thing. Its really weird. I dont understand it. Ive been reading about how its vibraations and spiritual energey. But i havent found 1 website that has described the thing im feeling and what it is. I wonder is we are just diffrent. Guess ill find out later.
i have been getting "the chills" my entire life(goosebumps and tingling) but i can agree that this sensation is nothing like the chills. the first time i remember experiencing it was during meditiation. i will admit that i am not very advanced and only practice a few times a week but i do feel that i am improving. a few months ago i was meditating, nothing different or out of the ordinary just about a half hour. during my meditation, i felt that i was experiencing something...something that i knew i had not experienced before(at least to my concious knowledge) the best description i can give is as follows: it felt as though i was suffering the impact of a large wave that passed over my body in a brief moment. not in a painful or startling way, just more like reassurance. it felt like a body and mind reward. in the beginning, these feeling would come about outside of my control and happened only when i was meditating, which was fine enough for me. it wasn't until about a month ago that i randomly stumbled upon an unlikely trigger for this sensation: in one episode of the anime BLEACH, the main character Ichigo is having trouble harnessing his reiku or "spirit force"(as the show calls it)after hours and hours of little success, an unlikely friend gives him advice... he said to imagine a black hole in your minds eye and that you are throwing yourself into it. ever since then, i have applied this technique to my meditations and felt a similar but subtler sensation to the one i felt before. within the last few weeks, i have realized that i now have the ability to "push out" instead of "recieving". mind you, my pushes are very small but i feel that i can now direct them around my body. this has helped me make progress. i hope i can for anyone else. sorry for the long post lol
I just found this forum/thread after finally searching for this. I used the search term: "tingling feeling as if to move" I don't think this is a unique ability but i do think that the awareness of and interest in it are unique in some way. Basically the way i originally produced the feeling is by imagining moving a part of my body. Put complete focus on the movement of my hand or leg as an example. Thinking in my mind "move NOW.... NOW..noo....NOW" (you probably get the idea ). But never actually move it. This has progressed into simply generating the feeling in my entire body without actually imagining anything. I can control the intensity but like others have said it is not sustainable for a long time at the highest intensity. I am able to breathe freely (it's easier to raise intensity on exhale) while doing it. While breathing freely and doing it at say 60%-75% intensity i can do this for a pretty long time. I've never timed it because i just haven't had the interest until now. Going at full intesity could be likened to trying to hold a heavy weight in a fixed position.. it's like expending energy.. The release of the feeling does give a feeling of relaxtion.. like letting go of a heavy weight or taking a breath after holding your breath for awhile. The reason i searched for this is because i keep thinking i would like to train this.. And i was looking for an explanation of why someone would train this ability.. Is there some kind of additional experience/ability that comes with training this? I've never seen it explained like this though. Like weight training, i would imagine the most benefit would come from attempting to hold the highest intensity for the longest period of time but i wonder what kind of physiological system(s) are being taxed by doing this? What does one do in conjunction with this to ensure a good rest cycle? My intuition tells me this is like training muscles.. so this in and of itself is not immediately energizing.. it is like expending energy and the relaxtion that comes after it. Someone here called this "Charging".. do you have any links for this? I did a quick search but haven't found anything. Is this Chi/Prana training or just some (semi)useless experience like breathe holding? If it is Chi/Prana then i have to wonder why there is no explanation of it like this? I mean this is, i think anyway, a fairly easy experience to teach. Literally focus on moving and don't actually move. The key is to not move AT ALL while fully sending the movement "signals". Again try with a hand or leg first. Once you get that it is easy to generate the whole body experience. I've trained yoga with a very accomplished yogini.. lots of talk of Prana etc but no talk of it like this. p.s. the experience is different.. easier? with eyes closed and looking up to the middle of the forhead.. traditionally known as the third eye.. Anyone? is this good for anything? hahahaha
Ya except it weakens my strength to fall into the black hole so I fall out of it or pull my self out with a rope. Btw it takes far more effort to escape and extends the length of the meditation .
I have been doing this my whole life..Just found out that my 10 year old daughter is doing it as well..
i can make the tingle happen on command and with my eyes open i dont even need to close them the first time i got the feeling was a few days ago. when i do this it feels so good its just get me a bit tired and ive gotten the third eye tingle i just cant do it on command the third eye i got just the other day. i feel like i am doing what should have taken a bit longer and i got it in just a couple of days.
I can make my arms and hands tingle during meditation, or by simply placing them close to each other and focusing all my energy to that area. The sensation can get so powerful that it will continue for minutes after I stop trying. There have been other times where my head will start tingling intensely all on it's own. This normally happens after I've abruptly broken a long meditation or a long period of silence and thought. It can become overwhelming to the point that I'll almost blackout if I don't quiten my mind back down.
windy not problem lol once i got comfortable with that technique, i was able to recreate the sensation with eyes open.(day-dream like) also, sometimes i feel that when I give myself time off from meditation, when i reintroduce it into my life, the effects are much more effortless and sustained. (like my soul needed time to learn the process)
yea if you do tao breathing and meditate you can get the feeling really strongly its energy flowing through your chakras i can do it while breathing or if i get a really good buzz i feel it in my arms sometimes
beautiful. just beautiful. as soon as i read this forum i was like what are they talked about then i remembered. and i did it, i like when someone stated its like flexing a muscle. i use to focas it on my hands. cause i use to watch this cartoon as a kid called dragon ball z and they can make like energy come out of there hands, and i wanted to try it and thats when i focased into it, its been a while since ive played around with it. now im interested. with a bit of mental discipline anythings passable. like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5NwRfMJgOQ its called a psi wheel. but also theres people who come up with reasons http://www.sanchi.ro/view_video.php?viewkey=b6065c8ff5cc11caae9c its heat energy .
FUCKING FINALLY. I found a thread where people have experienced this. I've also looked it up. Are you guys talking about a sort of "muscle" that you flex in your brain that sends a chill down your spine? It's called Chi/Qi/Consciousness/Reiki/Life Force/Psi, whatever you want to call it. There's tons of different names for it in different cultures. I'm glad I'm not crazy. lol. Anyway, this feeling comes from the pineal gland ( or third eye ) which is said to be the "seat of the soul". If I lay down and constantly keep pressing the energy out of it, the "muscle in my head" starts to vibrate very subtly. It's a euphoric vibration, nonetheless. AND IF you lay down, and kind of meditate, and take DEEP BREATHES ( which intakes the spiritual energy. Air IS spiritual energy, EVERYTHING is connected by this invisible energy. ) you can actually control where this energy goes JUST BY GIVING CONSCIOUS ATTENTION TO IT. You can make your arm vibrate subtly, or your leg or whatever your focusing on. Some who practice Qi GONG claim that they also feel an electrical current, or vibration when working with Qi. Here is my thread on it. http://www.psionguild.org/forums/showthread.php?t=5150 A thread about it on lucid dreaming forums: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=88482 But you don't need to be able to flex a muscle in your head to get this energy, it's already there. The very act of inhaling deeply is intaking this energy. Lay down and meditate, shut your conscious mind up, and start focusing your breathes on parts of your body, and you will feel it. I'm just wondering how in the hell do I use this to have lucid dreams or OBE's, or SOMETHING metaphysical lol
I get this when I try and get a lasse in the mood, just inject her with this tinging colour sensation into her body and then she melts like butter. I also get a similar feeling coming up to a full moon up and down my spine.
