I'm looking for a person to possibly travel with who's experienced, i live in ocala, fl and ive never traveled before, last week i talked to a friend who is heading out west, first to texas, then cali, and oregon, and i was going with her, she lives in st. pete, her friend mike was taking her and another person, plus me, then it got held up first because of mike's girlfriend not wanting him to leave, so we were waiting, and then the hurricane (francis) hit us, i'm not sure if they left right before the hurricane and weren't able to tell me, or if they just have no power right now and have been in a shelter, but if they've already left and weren't able to get ahold of me to tell me, i might want to find a person who will travel with me on the road, this isn't a certain decision yet, but it might be a possible choice that i might have to make if i want to go anywhere, i'm 18 and no hitching experience, just welled equiped for it, if you're down with living on the streets, and dumpstering, and living like a street kid, i'd like to travel with you if my other plan has failed, i'll keep you (whoever you are) posted about if i'm gonna have to take the second choice

About 10 years ago there was a gathering in the Nat'l Forrest of SW Colorado.
Not only were my partner (of that time) and i impressed by the whole affair, but we had a great time! We were able to do our part with the clean-up, etc. but were able to take one of the Family to a salvage yard in a near town to find a part he needed to move out of the Glade, an honor for us. But a special aspect
was that we saw a piece of land that matched my vision;ugly land that no one
wanted, but had trees. I have lived on that land for years now. When my special Great Horned Owl returned last week, and when mama deer comes up to our small cabin to show off her babies, always remember that it was the family who led me here. Thanx: john
