i went to pentacostal churches and raised in a very religious family, I believe in hell and that's why i'm scared of it, i shouldn't be scared cuz my beliefes say that i'm going to heaven, but i still have a seed of doubt in me.
how are you people so sure about hell? how do you know it doesn't exist? where is your proof. there is no proof. so making assumptions with no proof is futile. hell might actually really be a hopless place in which there is no pleasure or hope. imagione being in a terrifying place for eternity. it could happen. only God knows. this is not something to be taken lightly. it is serious. the hell that is mentioned in the bible might be true. just because you can't accept it doesn't mean it cannot be real.

It may exist, it may not... Can't be proven either way, however until it's proven I see no reason to worry about it... It's kind of like innocent until proven guilty you know? Hehe
not bothered about maybe spending eternity in a hopless place of the most extreme pain and isolation? you are naive because i bet if you were to die and go to hell you would be very bothered. you would have wished you'd never been born more importantly your would have wished youwere bothered about going to hell and would have tried to do anything to not go to hell.
Well theoretically speaking, if hell were to exist, and I were to go there I would not be worried, as I'm sure I'd be in good company! I know all my friends would be there burning with me...

i am terrified about hell. i hope there isn't a hell but i have a feeling that there is. it is something serious and that is why i posted this topic. you only have beliefs that there is or isn't a hell. but none of you nor can any human have proof, because if any one of you actually got a 5 second glimpse of hell you would be terrified like nothing before. i'll give you my near death experience. one time i wanted to get stoned and i took too many sleeping pills. i went to the hospital and i was trying not to pass out, i thought i might die. i was hearing voices coming from my body. on my left chest area i head french radio broadcasts from over the atlantic. from my stomach i heard a voice talking to me negative things. i believe i heard something out of hell. i beleive i heard this because i was almost gonna die and i beleiev the voices were coming from hell, basically introducing me to my fate if i died. this is my own personal experience and there is no fact to prove that what i heard wasn't hell.
yes it is a serious subject water_baby, but most people don't take it seriously and it's no good to be constantly worried about going to hell either. I'm scarred of it but i know that Jesus conquered death so that we no longer have to fear it. don't worry or try to change other peoples views on it cuz it will just cause u more unnecessary stress and make it harder on yourself.
