    Hi,

I have just joined the forum and look forward to learning more about yoga.
I have been following a lot of spiritual gurus for about 10 years now,
using a variety of methods. I'm very open to new transformation experiences so will have a good look around the forum and hopefully learn lots more.

    Warm Regards

    Jen

Hi, thanks for checking in. I have been at this forum for awhile and there's many seasoned as well as new practitioners here. I myself try to be open minded. I did TM for 25 years and then Dzogchen. Others, who the heck knows what they do.

    Hi Chodpa,

Thank you for your nice welcome!

I have known TM for quite sometime but never
go into it much. But I realize TM is quite popular
in this forum. Maybe I will start to go deeper on
    it.

I am a Silva practitioner and looking for more
    exiting new experiences too... :)

What's Silva? Is it a system of techniques? If that is the case do you find the need for an additional ontology? Or is it sort of inherent? Some persons at this forum such as Xenon are pretty much I guess Advaitin, but I am not sure if they are Advaita Eternalist or Advaita Nihilist. Maybe your introduction and this thread can help us pin him down. But in that sense, what other techniques have you done? Not to shred on them, but merely for curiousity. Thanks for playing. :)

With my involvement in Sant Mat, there was a pivotal moment in my spiritual life. The journey ended. The reading stopped. Eventually meditation itself stopped. There was no more desire for enlightenment. The seeds had been roasted.

What came out of that was an abilty to remain in the eye of the storm without any effort. Now meditation is waking life. Worship is the guardianship of those who still sleep.

While it's true I no longer see duality, I'm always free to step away from the eye of the storm and play in your world. A dreamworld where the dreamers think themselves real.

But I just watch others dream now.

I really love yoga so far! I started doing it about a month ago... and I can't tell you how much it has helped me! Obviously, it has helped me become way more in shape. I'm really flexible and feel a lot more healthy. But apart from that... I just feel great! I feel like it helps me know myself a lot better. I feel a lot happier with myself. It releases my stress and gives me time to release negative energy. I have never really tried any other forms of meditation, but I can tell that this one is great for me.
