What an idiotic poll. What kind of a pissing contest is this? Person A gets shot, and person B gets shot, and you're pecking away at a computer asking me which shooting is worse?

What are you going to do when your parents die? Take a poll? 42% think that dad dying was worst, and 56% think that mom dying was worst?

You guys were all born, which leads me to say we didn't spend ALL our time in marches and protests.

The baddest scene had to be the assasination of Martin Luther. As a result, America is far behind in the racial domain. There are still ethnic minorities and black people being discriminated against, just for their creed and color*.

If Martin Luther wasn't assasinated, people like Obama would have been president sooner.
*Note, I conform to American spelling.

After the War in Vietnam I would put the ghetto riots that happened during the summers from 1964 to 1968. More than any other single development those turned the United States into a Republican country.

I vote "The War"- - if you were there or fighting here at home because of it - - It had some long term effects that some of us never TRUELY got over. Many good souls were lost or( were just beaten down over time) - - - there and here at home.
It truly was the tragedy of a generation :(

I picked the Ice Bowl. Only because I couldn't decide between The Manson Family, Vietnam, Kennedy, and MLK
