Hey y'all, I had my frist shrooming trip a few months ago and it was absolutely MIND BLOWING. I loved it. Anyway my question is, we had about 3.5 to 4 grams, and after we took them another guy over and he told me afterwards that I blacked out a bit during my peak and I was lying on the chair and I would twitch every once in a while, I even remember twitching a bit. Is this usual? It didn't cause any harm to my trip, which was amazing. But it didn't seem like a normal thing to happen during a trip...

    Thanks,
    Bin to the CiN

a friend of mine had a seizure while shrooming. They do lower the thresh hold for seizures but some twitching is experienced by almost everyone who trips.

It didn't feel like a seizure really and I don't have ahistory of medical problems or psychosis etc... I would just sit in the chair, fall asleep and wake up and kinda jump. You know when you have those very short naps and you wkae up with a jump? Felt like that kinda...

I seem to remember reading somewhere that lot of the physiological symptoms encountered with shrooms can be linked to elevated blood pressure and low blood sugar levels. I used to often feel cold during a trip, apart from wrapping up well, I make sure that there is plenty of sugary snacks available (even if you dont feel hungry, its worth a try). Seems to work for me. Perhaps its why I dont get so twitchy now?

If you are epileptic or suspect you are epileptic, don't do shrooms.
