man completely opposite to how i see it and yeah those are more shroomy looking visuals as one youtuber said, although again, true psychedelic visuals cannot be reproduced or even closely mimicked even using advanced technology, simply because they are very low-level changes to your vision, while things like computer graphic effects are very high-level alterations you don't just 'see' the hallucinations on lsd/psylocibin, you feel them, you think them . . . it's a much more total experience, and it's not "lewl im a demon lewl", they are much more rich and complex and thought provoking, and rarely so bland. and i've never once had anything even remotely evil appear in my trips, but that may be because if i saw a demon, i would offer him a hit and dance with him until the sunrise
really? you dont think that was spot on? I agree about feeling the trip as well as seeing it, but visually that video was unbelievably close to anything Ive ever experienced as far as mushrooms go, I usually see faces take over the persons face im looking at (though not always demon), and slow morphing and pictures overlaying pictures and what not
bathrooms trip me out when im tripping. going to pee is like taking a venture into my soul. the mirror, being alone, having time to wait, is all a very interesting combination.
It was spot-on in a very superficial way that misses the point of psychedelics, that's why i don't like to clap and show my friends, even if it's very well done from the purely visual side. the problem is that videos like that belittle psychedelics. think of what a straight person thinks when they watch a video like that. i have a friend who is terrified of drugs but who, if he took them, would be 100x happier than he is now. i would never, ever show him that video, because i know he would completely miss the point and be all "zomg demons fuck that shit". people who have done it can watch it and chuckle and say "yeah its kinda like that!" but i just would not go further than that in how i appraise it simply because unexperienced people will draw wild and incorrect conclusions and that will hurt THEIR lives (because they will never try psychedelics) and will hurt the lives of those who do (because the DEA will watch that video next week and increase penalties on LSD possession or something ridiculous) thats where im coming from aside from all that serious stuff, yes it's done pretty well! I would have just prefered much more 'natural' scenery rather than something out of a sunday school horrror book or a hollywood movie on 'trippin bawls'
the first video is kinda similar. when i look in the mirror, its definitely like that, just less evil...
that reminds me of the very first time i dosed. I think i was in my bathroom for about an hour. prob only 5 min tho
mirrors are THE most humbling thing while tripping. And peeing is VERY weird while tripping. More shroom-like if anything, but still not very realistic from my perspective.
ive seen this vid a long time ago, and i think the sound in the backround was pretty realistic.. i mean what the hell is that when youre tripping?
Mirrors really suck you in, I actually avoid them because no matter how hard I try to look away I cant. I've spent really long periods of time just staring into them trying to build the motivation to blink and walk away.
When i tripped on an 1/8th of shrooms for my first time i watched lord of the rings, boy was that interesting. Anyways, my friend yelled at me to come to the bathroom and look at the mirror. For like 10 minutes we just touched our faces and laughed as i saw my face morph into different creatures. It's very close to what actually happens in some scenarios.
Haha the first time I did acid I looked in the mirror and I was in total awe of my own reflection. Then my nose fell off lol! but it was comical and not scary at all. The only scary sorta 'demon-ish' experience I had was when all these shadow people came and were going to attack me but I made an alliance with them and we chilled haha it was pretty sic
