I missed the Superbowl...

So that I could smoke weed and trip acid.

Fuck football. The Scooby Bowl Sunday is much better. Especially when the TV is melting into the floor.

 

Well, it's not like the outcome wasn't totally predictable.

The route to that outcome however....

oh yes... watching 168 games that are 3hrs long is waaaaaaaaaay more entertaining than watching a season that consists of 17 games + post season...

Baseball games run so much smoother though, plus all those games is a good thing, like seeing a game isn't all that important unless it's a really big game because for 5 months there's basically a game every night

 

I like Hockey and all, but way way way too many games.
But also, playing along with Football and analyzing all the different things that are going on, and making your own coaching decisions makes Football so much more interesting to me.

And Hockey has some pretty hits but I don't think there's anything more exhilarating than seeing a hard slam that knocks out the ball, a block that you can hear, or a nice physical battle between two or more players.
Whether it's seeing if they can overpower the rusher and stop him in time, or whether it's seeing whether the receiver will be able to break away.

 

baseball is fun if you're at the game.. otherwise most of the season play is lame to just sit and watch.. unless its the cubs/sox inter-league series..

Oh trying being in Connecticut when it's Yankees vs Red Sox, wars happen, people get shot.

 

I hate watching football, it's fun to play but dear god is it boring to watch. I guess that's why you have to get a good pitch going to watch it.

Also; Why is it called football? The only time the ball is in contact with the players feet is when they are punting. In fact, it isn't even a ball. A ball is round! Were the Americans just too lazy to think up their own name for the sport? Seems odd to me that they renamed a pre-existing sport and gave their sport an irrelevant name that was already in use.

 

Hockey blows everything out of the water. So much more fun to watch/play. I played all three then when I started hockey I was like wish this is 85338488x better and stuck with that until all the bum ass bitches in this city quit playin last year. Anyways... Hockey>all
