Can anyone else not WAIT for the election to be over?

It's just getting really old... has been for a while!!! and today i saw 6 political commercials right in a row...

did anyone see the one with this girl that had someone die in the WTC and she was going on and on about how great dudya is because he hugged her and she KNEW, "he truly cared". such bullshit.

this whole election process is getting on my nerves...

8 days and counting.

i know bush is gonna win but i just want it to be over with.

Agreed, but at least the campaign adds will be over, and the peace of normal and horrid advertizing shall again return. At least that isn't always annoying, sometimes even entertaining. Political ads... *shudder*

 

I'm anxious for it to be over too, it's time consuming and exhausting. It is interesting though. I don't think Bush is going to win though.

 

Yeah its getting a little out of hand, even for Canadian television. I guess its for a good reason though. This will effect out country on a HUGE level..as the US is our largest trading partner, but I could do without all the commercials about the election for one day. I'm predicting a GWB win and another 4 years of economic slumpery and all around bad times for US citizens...other than real rich ones.

 

yep, it sucks alright. i dont even think im going to vote anymore. screw em all. im just sick of the whole "he said she said" crap. all american politics is is trying to make the other guy look bad. they don't care about us, all they care about is their money and power.

 

yeah, i mean... im really into politics... read varies books, seen movies, etc., etc., etc.... been discussing it forever but it's a little played-out already.

I can't wait, and I can't watch anymore, over saturated.

Lets stop saying we know Bush will win, its VERY even at the moment as far as we can tell.....or are we just preparing ourselves in case?


Either way, I hope to be watching a good movie on election night.

i mean, look at hiawii...was supposed to go EASILY for kerry but now Hiawii is tied, which as of yesterday, put bush in the lead.

 

keep in mind though Trish, NO first time voters or people with only cell phones are polled......

and WTF, Hawaii gets to vote now, I thought only Americans could vote for president

 

All the ads and crap, and people arguing has gone on way too long... I'm ready for it to be over...

 

Politics in this country are bogus. All the people who get their news from only CNN and Michael Moore, really don't have a clue how the system works and how riddled with corruption it is. The maintream media does not report this, nor do the journalists who are part of the very same system.

I am looking forward for the election to end, because I think the election is bullshit anyway. Whether Bush or Kerry wins won't make an iota of difference to me. This country is literally screwed until people wake up and start using their brains, and realize what's going on.

George Bush or John Kerry are not going to save us.

 

i think most of us agree with you but you cant actually think a third party stands a real chance in this election?
