i want you to paint the fourth one from the top. or develop it somehow. i see a whole bunch of potential for that one to end up really ridiculously badass
are you talking about the crazy face? i always dream of converting these sketches into paintings, but ive honestly never tried, im not much of a painter yet. i intend on learning asap though, prehaps i can start here
yeah dandy, the guy with three top teeth and the ridiculous chin. painting is not that hard, you just have to suck it up and dive right in. i was nervous about it when i first started, but it's SO FUNNN!!! acrylics are best to start out with, i'd say. but they dry sorta fast so it's hard to blend, you know? oils are best for blendy stuff. and watercolor is kinda tough, you really have to just get the feel for it, it's all about layering. but yeah your stuff, i would say acrylics deffo. mixing paint is SO MUCH FUN too! making all kinds of crazy colors and when you swirl them together they look like fuckin caterpillars. it's wonderful, i love painting. yeah try it! you'd be so good, i'm certain of it. and you would have no trouble coming up with subject matter lol!
your very kind! i actually got a whole bunch of acrylic paint and brushes and everything i needed, so i did like you said and just dove right in, and yea everything you mentioned was spot on, its fun stuff for sure i will definitely post anything i finish
I think the first would be a wicked painting. I was like you and used to just draw draw draw. Painting can be a lil scary at first as you have to be way more free with it. But thats it's beauty, just be totally loose and let your imagination flow. Trust yourself and you will learn naturally. I wanna see!
your art has a layer of comedy underlining it, every picture I laugh a little. Its very psychedelic, keep it up.
I didn't even know the first one had words in it until i looked at it closer, makes your art more interesting and developed
yea haha, that one is actually quite old i just recently found it in my old school stuff... "eat mushrooms, trip, youll laugh, its fun"... haha
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b64/com4tablyxnumb/IMG_2199.jpg that one is ownage, rest are good too but the detail on that one is awesome
yea i always teeter on the edge of getting serious with graffiti, i know i could make some really cool shit im actually sorta obsessed with typography, not just graffiti
You've got the skill to follow through in both artistic genres, but dude, if you started making stencils and tagging around, I think it'd turn out ridiculously good (besides the rick factor)
yea man... once i ran into banksy i fell in love with stencils haha, i have some cool ideas i need to follow through on
