Hi, I'm new to the site, and I've been asking this question on the Grasscity forum, but nobody believes me. I started taking Oxycodone 30's in the beginning of November, 2008. I would take about 1 30, and I'd be gone. I never do them more than once a week, I've only done them twice in a week like 3 times. Well, here we are now, and I'm up to 120mg at a time to get high like I used to. I know it doesn't sound normal, and I don't understand it either, but I don't have a job right now, and the prices around here are like $12 a 30, and my boyfriend is paying for them, I really don't want to make him keep paying that much. He doesn't mind getting them, but I feel bad. So I was wondering, why do you think it's gotten this high even though I don't do them very often? Is there anything anyone on here does to boost their tolerance back up? Or am I just a medical phenomenon? Any tips, information, etc. is REALLY, really appreciated. I just don't want to get flamed.
Alls I know is I havent taken no opes in like 6 mos before tonight. And I got itches off 2 7.5 hydros. I can only imagine how smacked id be off an OC

I don't really know what to tell you. I mean your tolerance is what it is. I mean I don't really get high "like I used to" until I hit about 90mg. I can still get high with 30mg's, but not nodding out or anything close.
well i dont do opiates that often and i need to blow close to 160mgs of contin to be good, my tolerance has never dropped even after stopping for over a year and a half my tolerance stayed the same. so i guess just doing it builds your tolerance and it never goes back down, at least not to significantly
Wow, I've been scripted Oxys for 3 yrs now, and 60mgs still makes me feel great.. Unless you like being a nodding zombie, then I don't know why you need that much.. 60mgs and I'm flying for hours.. All energitic
I used to do a little but a little wouldn't do it, so the little got more and more. I'm just tryin to get a lil better, said a lil better than before...
Shits weird. Seems like 4 or 5 diff people have been having the same problem lately, including me? Are you talkin brand name, straight outa the pharmacy OC? If so, my only theory is they finnaly changed something to make it abuse proof.
its not that cheap, I get better prices. I get OC40s for 10 a pop, and 80s for as cheap as 13, but usually 13-15.
What the hell are you talking about it doesn't sound normal? That is tolerance. I went from 60mg of Oxycodone to 240mg of Oxycodone in 3 months. The only tip ANYONE can give you is to stop, for at least a couple weeks, if not a few months, if you want your tolerance to go back down. Even then, it's not going to go back to what it was, and it will shoot right back up after a few weeks. Welcome to Opiates.
