My friend is not feeling the DXM please help!

my buddy weighs 200lbs hes about 5'8'' he just drank 600 mg of dxm. he took it at 10pm and its now 11pm and he says he doesnt feel anything just a little differnt off, im woundering if it is going to take him longer to react to it because i took it the other night and it hit me fast but im alot smaller than him. This is his first time experimenting with a large dose of dxm (he has taking cough medicence for the purpse of cough suppresent) im woudnering if you guys have any suggestions, we have been smokin pot all day and we smoked our last bowl about half hour ago, i took 600mg about 1030pm so im waiting for mine to kick in!

 

yeah it usually takes more then an hour, it takes 2 hours for me to really feel anything.

 

it can take up to 2 hours to feel anything, mostly depends on content of stomach and metabolism of individual

600mg of dxm is definetely noticeable lol

 

thats good glad to hear becasuse hes wounderin if it wont affect him, but hes a big dood so it will probly take a lil while he was just sayin he saw the tv gettin a lil wavy so i think its working i feel tingly thats how it started the last time

 

im starting to feel it i took 600mg bout 3 nights ago and i did it again tonight im feeling pretty fucked up my buddy and girlfriend is feelin it too its there first time with psycidelics

 

i know DXM is fun and all but man, don't overuse it.

it's not weed, there are some concerns about problems related to the overuse of dissociatives.

i don't mean to be a mom, but, be careful. if for nothing else, try not to make it so commonplace that the trips stop being interesting.

yeah its funny7 cuz my budy got a slow metabolisim but he took his like an hour before i took mine, it only takes me half an hour - 45 min to feel it comin on strong, so we basicly pleautued at the same time haha we tripped our balls off i was huging the wall and telling him i was becoming one with the wall lmao thats some heavy shit!

 

hmm i guess we all trip differently. i love meditating on the stuff, get me an inner trip goin with some shpongle on the phones, i just float off into space feeling the music course through me... next time u should try it in a dark room with some trippy tunes and just lay back and work with the trip. feel urself leave ur body in the room while ur out floating along, wait till u get an experience like that. i hate tryin to walk or talk on the stuff, im usually solo so that helps alot. as mentioned above, dont over due it, dont play with addiction. cya around.

 

i tend to freak out if i do psycidlics by myself, i really need some one there to know what im feeling or some one there who i know isnt gonna judge me when im on the stuff, close friends that know how im feeling lol, when i tripped on dxm the first time i asked my friend to come over because i needed some one there to remind me i was alive, lol it was crazy

Yeah, he's a Hasidic Jew (Ortodoxish) who doe a raggae type thing. It's not my fav but I saw him open up for 311 and he was pretty good. I don't own any of his cd's or anything. To each his own.
