What does everybody think of smoking pot multiple times daily? When I started I rarely did it, and then I progressed to doing it three or four times a week, worried that any more would harm my throat and lungs, and that I would build up a dependence. Well, nowadays, since school started really, I've been smoking multiple times every day. Today I smoked four times, once before second period, twice at lunch, and once before fifth period. I've been doing this almost every single day. Its so nice to just keep a general high all day long, but I find that I've kind of fallen into a dependence, and I'm either high or burnt out most of the time, and I don't want the people at school to forget about who I am. Also, I'd have to say, I think I'd get more out of the experience if I cut back. Do any of you keep this high throughout the day? What kind of consequences come from it? Is it worth it?
I go through phases of drug use depending on whats going on in my life. If I am trying to get a job, you won't see me anywhere near pot, but I will probably do shrooms, acid, or other drugs that leave your body fast. But after the first week after I start my job and pass my drug test, I am stoned 24/7 for about a week. Then I back off to about once every couple days. I can't be stoned all the time, I sleep too much and I lose my assholeness.
Of course it's not worth it. It's a waste of pot and a waste of your mind. If you wanna smoke on school days, smoke in the evening, it's really nice, and if you only do it once a day you won't build up tolerance. Ideally, you should smoke twice or three times a week or less. It's more special that way.
Are you referring to the condition known as 'perma-fried'?I'm a pretty sharp guy, its important to me to stay this way. I've only been smoking in this kind of pattern for a month or two. Do you think if I keep on like this I could become 'perma-fried'? What exactly would that entale anyway?
Nothing it does to your brain is permanent. If you feel your memory sucks, try taking 3-4 days off, and you'll find it's back to normal. If you go a month or so, pretty much everything is gone. However smoking all the time means you're always within 24 hours of having smoked and will defenitely mess with your mind. You'll probably get sick of it at some point or tone down. If you want to smoke on school nights do it in the evenings after you're done with homework, and/or before bed.
I've been smoking everyday, multiple times a day, for 3 and a half months. I am basically perma-high for a good portion of the day. Sometimes I smoke before 1st and 2nd period (easy classes - I have a 100 in one and a 97 in the other, so that's not a problem). In all of my other classes, I have a 96 or higher. And the first semester is halfway over. I'm pretty proud of this accomplishment, because a lot of people say it's impossible to keep good grades and responsibilities when you're a full-time stoner. I have a job that I go to after school (sometimes I'll take 3 hits out of a pipe before I go - makes the day a bit less boring). I work for 3.5 hours, and then come home, eat dinner, do homework, and smoke. Sometimes I study while high (but I don't recommend it - you won't remember specific details EXACTLY .. you'll just have the general gist of it) I tried studying high yesterday but I missed 2 questions on the quiz.. I'm not going to do it again. I've done homework while high, though, but only boring, monotenous homework that requires no brain power. I only smoke everyday because I can afford it easily (I sell to my good inner circle of friends). Smoking makes everyday interesting, and I'm always in a mellow, relaxed, good mood. I'm happy with my life, the world, etc. Very content with my life. I like the way it's changed me as a person (relaxing me, making me more mellow and just go-with-the-flow, whatever happens happens, let it be, live life to the fullest, etc) I only smoke pot (well I smoke cigs too but I plan to quit in the near future!) But I don't drink or do any other drugs. If it's only pot that you're doing, you shouldn't have much to worry about unless you let yourself slack off and stop doing schoolwork or something. If you're a responsible stoner, you can pull it off and still lead a respectable life. If not, then maybe pot all the time isn't for you! I'm really baked right now and I felt like typing a long post.
I'm trying to bump this up to the top of the forums because I am interested in what other people have to say about smoking every day!
Smoking every day is no big deal to me, but it seems like most of the people I'm around can't control the urges weed can make one feel like munchies or laziness or whatever. I usually smoke a little before school (just a little, though...2-4 one-hitters), and then after school I smoke a little, get my work done, and then smoke the rest of the night until I go to sleep. You won't get "perma-fried" off of weed, but if you're not good at making yourself do the things yo need to get done, it might be a good idea to cut back smoking. You'll get a lot more high if you cut back, too. If you smoke every day, your tolerance will eventually climb (mental and physical).
when i have weed its nonstop smoking for me but recently my dealer got locked up so i got nuthin. its kinda good cuz i can let my tolerance decrease but its bad cuz i cant get weed once its down but yeah taking time off of weed is always a good thing. my friends step brother used to smoke with us but then he had to take a while off so he could pass his football physical. i think he didnt smoke for 2-3 months and the day after his physical we got some green and we smoked up with him. we knew his tolerance was way down and so we monitored his high after every hit he took (easy to do because it was a big circle of us approx 5 minutes between ur hit and then ur hit again) and after 3 hits we decided to make him stop. 3 hits lasted NO LIE 7 hours for him. 7 hours!!! cuz we went to my crib that night about 6 1/2 hours later and he was still giggly and red eyed as shit and it finally wore off about a half hour after we got to my house. taking time off from herb is a good way to get a big ass high
When I got weed, im high all day. Smokin as often as i gotta to stay high. I've never had to stop smoking for any job that i've gotten, restraunt industry aint really tryin to filter out druggies and alcoholics. As for the whole "perma-stoned" thing nothin but a myth, i know a guy thats been smokin for a good 20yrs or so, he still smokes schwag to get high, he doesnt need no more or no less than i do to get high and i've been smokin for 8yrs, the amount i smoke to get high only depends on the quality, other than that, nothin has changed.
my recent smoking patterns sort of went like the roman empire. it was a subtle increase until the point where i was smoking every day and then during one long five day weekend i smoked at least 5 substantial sessions every day then on the last day of that weekend it all crashed at once when i got busted. now ive been clean for 2 weeks, i cant wait for the holy roman empire to rise up with its subtle power in this odd historical analogy of weed.
Ah..... i've had that shit before, was some medical grade from Oregon, shit kept me soooooo stoned, it was the greatest, would come down, and wouldnt be burnt out or nothin, wish i could get more of that
I don't. I just got a 1/4 of crip; If I don't suddenly decide to smoke out a mob of dope fiends, it should last me a good long while. How often I smoke depends on who I'm with and how much I have. As my stash decreases, I smoke less and less, till eventually I have like one little bud left, and I have'nt smoked (my own stuff) in like three weeks. When that time comes, I say to myself, "I need to re-up" and I go buy a shitload of bud and start all over again. Even if I had enough money to smoke all the time, I would'nt. I like my current method.
yeah. I smoke all day long, but I spend most of the day only a little high-always mellow. I only get really messed up once or twice. But my amount of drug use varies a lot over longer periods of time. Sometimes its only occasional, then somehow I build up to how I am now, then I realize being straight is an altered consciousness for me, so I straighten up again and the cycle repeats. I like it both ways.I still have straight A's in Post-Secondary (taking college classes in high school) and high ACT and SAT scores, so it hasn't really negatively affected me and I like being the typical stoner in one way and the opposite at the same time (always high, but getting A's in college-level classes).
ive got no self control when it comes to smoking. if i have it, ill keep smoking it till my mum comes home (then start again when she goes to bed) or until my stash runs out ( very soon.. prolly tongiht.. ) i just love it so much. ive been doing daily for a few weeks now and its never lost its special-ness
I've been smoking everyday for... well I can't recall how long, and I've always had all B's and C's in school (my entire life) but this year I have nearly all A's and one B so far. I've been working at my job for nearly a year now, and I'm 16 and I was just promoted to supervisor (occasionaly, I smoke before work) I smoke before school, the minute school gets out, when I get home, and normally once more when it gets dark out, sometimes twice more.
my smoking progressed steadily from 10th grade to its peak at the end of senior year. i started out smoking a couple times a month, usually on the weekends, then i began smoking just about every other weekend at the end of 10th. by 11th i was smoking a couple times a week, but only like one bowl a day. soon after this i started smoking at lunch and then before school. at its peak during 12th grade i was smoking on average, 5 times a day. before during and after school, once around 4:20, just because it really is an ideal time to burn, and then i would smoke sometime during the night, to relax myself. it really sucks when you start to build up a tolerance and where as before you could get stoned off one bowl between 4 people, now it takes you two just to get high alone. a stoner really need a job though, to afford the pot and to give us something to do while we're not smoking.
