Dont u hate it when people say marijuana promotes bad grades. I had B's and C's before i started smokin and now i get A's cept a B or two I think all the kids who have bad grades before they started smokin give a bad impression to what weed really does. Does this make any sense to any of u
i was thinking about that the other day too. i think the only reason that someone would say that would be that they dont want their kids to smoke pot. but i guess people assume stoners aren't intelligent is because they're in such a vegetative state that it doesn't seem possible that they're smart. thats what i thought anyway.
hey there i got a 99 on my HONORS chemistry final... i rule :sifone: most forumers here are at the upper eschelon of the schooling system as well...
i make mostly A's with a few B's. I will say though that during periods of frequent marijuana use my grades do go down a little, but i can keep it under control. above the influence always says that "Kids with a D average are 4 times more likely to smoke marijuana!", but this doesn't mean anything. of course kids that are doing shit in school are going to smoke. if they had a study that said "Marijuana makes you 4 times more likely to have a D average" then they would have something cogent.
i don't get the best grades because i don't apply myself. i got good grades till high school and then one semester i would ahve good grades and the next bad. i got straight Cs with one B my first semester of college (i'm about to start my second) and i smoked everyday. however, i know it's only because i didn't go to class half the time.
I think it depends on who you are. You can do both you just have to keep on top of things and in control, unfortunatley their are many people who give up or dont try on school.
Yeah. I think really, it doesn't have too much of an effect unless you let it consume you. Then it's a whole other story.
Yeah. That's what I figured. I'm just kinda feeling the don't-care thing because it's been dawning on me just how pointless school is. So I kinda sit in class and educate myself by reading, etc.
I'm graduating in six months. There is really no way I can't graduate at this point, so I really feel done.
Ha, congratulations. I'm still a junior. So I've got a ways to go. I should be able to graduate. I believe I've kept like a B average or something. I don't know for sure, nor do I really care. Are you graduating from high school or college?
