Well its a mystery really. She started off a healthy dog and then started having siezures that through blood tests and ect could not be explained. She was on meds for it and was doing okay for months with only an episode like once every three weeks and then all at once she started having them every day, mutliple times a day and then got to a point she had so many in a day she could not really get up. She started to do better was outside for a walk, she started having issues, glazed look, staggered and by the time she was inside she would just lay there awake but would not get up. Within in a half hour she was drooling out of control. This was a sunday, I called the vets home drove her 50 miles to the vet. She just layed there in the truck (not her, she was a very active dog ran 100 MPH all the time so to speak) and well when I got her there he did some things and then suggested we put her down, she was hurting and sufering bad.

Man that was tough to write!

I am sorry to hear that, man. We had to put my dog (our family's dog) down a few years ago after my dad accidently backed into her with his truck. It was terrible and I was pretty distraught for days.

Yes I have aq real weak spot for animals, people sadly I have little use for but animals are there for ya, great freinds indeed.

She really was not a pup (over 2 years old) but she was a small breed dog and one of the 2 I had that are also the youngest (my big dog is nearly 10 years old now) so forever they will be the pups.

Sorry about yours, man that would kill me if that happend.

Yup, Giana and Gabby. Gabby is smaller, almost a third Gigi's size was and Gabby is loud mouthed but piddles if you look at her, lol Dogs have Character. Gigi was a great looking dog, had people that wanted us to breed her, great dog, nice, quiet loved to play, would not run off, just a great dog. Gabby is like her polar opposite but they were sisters. Gabby is small, stalky, loud, runs away from ya outside but not far, is nervous all the time, plays but little and sleeeps alot, demands attention alot like a baby but I would not trade her for the world. Since her sister died she really demands attention now, like every 20 minutes licking your face wanting to be rubbed all over!

The vet in the end all the blod test still showed there was no reason for her problems and he just figured that there may have been a brain issue, he figured her fianl day she stroked out from all the siezures but was not 100% sure. He was baffled the whole time by her case. She would have these massive siezures and be up and running like they did not happen, no rest time in her early stages of them. Just an active dog he would say.
