A single-payer national health plan would raise the average life span and lower the infant mortality rate in the USA. Obama doesn't support it. House Resolution hr 676 needs to be passed to provide it. Say no to big Pharma and insurance companies that are in the business of denying medical coverage even to people that have always paid their premiums, and yes to making medical care a basic human right. Find out more about hr 676 here. http://www.hr676.org/ Tell Obama you want a single-payer health care system, and urge him to support hr676 here. http://change.gov/page/s/healthcare peace brax
You know what the US really needs is NATURAL health care. Hospitals are great for things like broken bones and heart attacks, but not colds and most of the things people go to them for. Most doctors are just pill pushers for the big pharmacy companies. Most of our ills can be cured with natural things and changes instead of man made drugs that only cause more problems. Do you really think that the people who are getting paid big bucks by the pharma and insurance companies are going to set up a system that does not benefit them? Have you noticed that the health of Americans and health care has declined as the government has taken more control of the health care and food industries?
I have a better idea. Let's stop spending so much money on our military, etc, and give everybody under the poverty level free medical care. The poor are the hardest hit by expensive medical insurance. This results in many of them being sick all the time and spreading sickness throughout the nation. Keep the poor healthy, the entire nation will be healthier as a result. And harder working. Of course, this will take money out of the pockets of those who currently profit from the way things are. The way things are is the problem. x
I do agree that whatever is done the insurance companies have NO PLACE in the healthcare system. And as far as criminal Big Pharma they should be regulated to the max.So much more I can say about how bad Big Pharma is but I don't have the time.---If the US wants to have socialized medicine do it the right way by copying the countries that do it best like France,Sweden etc.
I think if you sign an organ donor card you should be given free medical after all look at all the money they make off those donated parts!
I agree I use natural and herbal remedies. I use doctors as a last resort. No they wont willingly, but fortunately this is still a democracy. As soon as the people wake up and stop being lead like sheep with add campaigns and news broadcasts designed to convince them to vote for something that is against their own best interest, they can turn health care into a basic human right, as it is in nearly every other developed nation on the planet. The people have all the power. In this country, more than most others, they are misinformed and under informed and manipulated. peace brax
According to the World Health Organization, it ranks 30th in the world.... just eight above the US, which is ranked 38. But the WHO's methodology has also been challenged as far as their ranking system goes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care_in_Canada
Yeah, it's good for if you cut your thumb or fall from a tree because then you don't have to pay out of pocket.
yea At least you can go to the doc without mortgaging your house and selling a family member into slavery. And pressed rat that would be 8 above, not below according to your figures. I've heard other figures somewhere that ranks US down in the sixty's. i should check it out and get back here. peace brax
Don't you just hate the kind of people that go around correcting every little mistake you make. peace brax
I don't ever have to pay for a single eye examination until I'm 65. It's like, good for that too. Or if you get your stomach stapled, the government pays for that too. All necessary medical examinations and tests at your family physician office is like, all paid for too. It rocks my socks.
Yeah, I am pretty much biased against ALL mainstream health care which is based around treatment rather than prevention. That's why I am so big into vitamins and naturopathic remedies, which they are trying to basically outlaw all around the world with Codex Alimentarius. I don't think I've been to a doctor since I was 18. I do have health insurance, but I am not trusting of doctors (most of them). But, then again (knock on wood), I haven't even really needed to visit a doctor, either.
