I know they've been around for many years, and I realize it's an unspoken practice for men to go to these places in search of a "good time" with other men, but for those of you that have actually gone to one either once or multiple times, would you think it's one of the better alternatives than internet or bar hook ups? The risks are inherently the same where ever you go, however I'd like to know your take on going to one of these establishments, your experience(s) there, and anything to watch out for, before I decide to venture into that realm.
You said the word "Risk". If that word is part of the scenario, forget about it. I have never been to a bath house. I would be too paranoid about disease. I would be afraid to touch anything, including another guy. Geeze, it would be like doing it in a peep show. If I wasn't totally sure about my friend, it would have never happened. I can assure you that it won't happen with anyone else. Have you had an encounter yet? Do you have a close friend who is of the same mindset?
i have been to a couple bathhouses in europe. they were gay, more naked men swimming or getting massages. cool thing was that the attendants were both men and women, so there is some hetero fucking.
Sweet... So did you endulge yourself in any of the festivities? Also, is it just kind of a common expectancy that all men going to these establishments are looking for some action, or do they actually go there for the services and that's it?
I wouldn't even know where my nearest bath house was. It sounds like a turn on tho. Are there private rooms you can go into with another guy?
The one i was in europe had a big screen and at night the place would play movies. men would hang out, clothed or nude in the pools. they would get massages etc. there were public sex acts, but most men went to other spots, somewhat out of the way. i actually got to know the girls that worked there and got some action. some men brought their wives or girlfriends. that is usually where you saw a 60 yo man with some 25yo trophy.
There's one here where I live. Been to it a few times. Always hooked up. Its alot of fun. I'm always safe and know the risks.
I live in Southern California. I know of a well known and popular one in West Hollywood called "Splash", but I would rather go to one less inconspicuous, and local. At least that way, if I meet someone local, we can occasionally hook up, rather than travel out.
I really get off on being watched or performing for an audience. But I would prefer to go with one my fuckbuddies than pick up someone there. I've never been to one but I would definitely consider going if I knew that most guys would only want to watch.
