I hate to ruin the fun but that has been photoshopped xD Would be awesome though Cats are probably too proud to have their hair all matted and un-lickable xD
i assumed it probly was photoshopped, but ..if you look closely it does look very natural many long haired dogs dread quite easily and i have seen long haired cats with a few dreads, ne er theyre whole bodies like ive seen with dogs, but i have seen them with a dread or 2 near theyre legs or under theyre necks i assume if this pic is real, its someones pet that was domesticated enough to alow beads and/or maybe evebn backcombing of the mane but wether its real or photoshopped i still like it makes him kinda cuddly cant ya just picture luxi on her hands and knees crawling up to him going mew mew mew then curling up and cuddling with him?

Bumpage!! Someone sticky this I saw one of those floor polisher things at uni today, and the mains caable was wrapped around the handle- it looked like those african braid dread things xD
my long hair cat had dreads forming, she had two on her belly, one on her back and shes got one on her neck area.. its all matted and tangled close to the skin and she wont let us brush them out =]
i routinely cut the mats out my dogs and cats. Mats can end up pulling on the skill and causing discomfort, so always cut them from my animals hair..kinda hypocritical I know. B
we've combed 3 out - she hated us for doing that, but she wont let us get near her neckdread, but i dont think its causing any problems yet =]
I will use shavers if need be. I never comb them out as that hurts. I just cut them with scissors and electric clippers when the mats are too close to the scalp.
