I think that idea is bad.... your first job interview? that's just asking to not get the job.

 

I agree, don't do that. Maybe you don't need a job real bad, but it's just irresponsible. Aren't we supposed to be for responsible weed smoking?

Well, have a cup of coffee or something. I guess it depends on what your job is, but especially while it's illegal, one should respect the laws of the land as well as the rules of the job and go to work straight. This is responsibility. Smoke on your own time, not on someone elses, ya know?

a very justified answer, i can feel that shit. but if ur doin like backlabor work or something of that nature, then i can see takin in a lil smoke 2 make it go by or ease the tension in the ole back. pretty much yea dont smoke on the job.

 

I disagree, anything involving labor or machinery should be done sober. Although weed does increase focus, it's hard to say if you'll be focusing on hammering that nail in or the bug walking by on the board. Smoke when you finish, not while you work.

smoking before/during work makes for a longer day where you just recognize how much it sucks to not be able to sit down etc. It's much better to have a bong hit after you get home.

StonerBill, have you ever been on an interview? Maybe you should get a few under your belt so you know what to expect before you go in baked for one. (I hate the term baked...)

 

All the interviews i've ever gone to, i've been stoned, the person interviewing me didnt seem to mind/notice. to tell the truth, i get my buds from my current boss, lol. Also all my jobs i've had i've gone to stoned, i dont find it immature or irresponsible, as long as you can function well while stoned, i've worked with lots of people who are idiots, come to work, munch out and sit around and do nothing, and yea, that is irresponsible, becuase obviously they cant preform their job under the influence. I've learned to chill out abit when smokin weed before work, cuz over the yearsi have become a little "spacey" when gettin stoned, and i dont like it while im workin cuz i dont know whats goin on and shit. I kinda find it wrong to say that all people are immature when the goto work/school or interviews high, cuz some people can be mature and responsible while high, damn, i think you've all seen too many of the propaganda commercials, and their goin to your heads. Oh shit... my sister just fell in the pool and im stoned, what am i to do??? guess i'll just say "oh my sister died cuz i was smokin marijuana" cuz i'm not responsible, jk lol. But yea anyways, if someone posts a thing on the forum asking about if they should? then they probably shouldnt.....

 

Stoner bill. while i love the pic in your sig with the rag and advocate the use of hemp in all forms especially smoked, weed is not the world. sometimes it can cloud your judgement to do things that are amusing and would make great movie plots but in reality are quite stupid. listen to the voice of reason in your head and follow it and when you get the job from a well prepared sober interview go home and celebrate by lighting up the sweet chiba. and if you asked this question just to be funny light up anway.
