I wouldn't expect much if any at all. It's probably just placebo effect, but may be worth a try. If in your mind you think its better, than I guess it really is better. But when you're talking about hard opiate drugs, fruit juice isn't gonna be the difference maker...

It can't be from concentrate though, has to be 100% real fruit juice. Pomegranate juice, same thing. It works, just respect the fruit and intend on it working and it will. Maybe do it the day before and the day of to make sure it works.

On my Bottle and the paper that comes stapled to the bag of my xanax there are a few warnings about eating graipfruit and drinking grapfruit juice. Does this really increase the effects and if so how much should I take and how much does it really increase it? Is it just a little bit and they have to put it on there just in case or does it really do sumthing?

Just down a glass or two before you take em, while you're taking em, after, during, whatever. It's not like the more juice you drink, the more fucked up you get. An 8 oz glass beforehand will effectively inhibit the important enzymes (CYP3A4 and CYP2D6) for more than long enough for it to augment oxy, xanax, etc. You can try drinking more during and after to experiment. I've just drank it beforehand and noticed increased effects with xanax and halcion, haven't tried anything else yet. The reason this works is because these enzymes metabolize drugs by oxidation, which can be good or bad depending on what you're taking. Xanax (alprazolam), klonopin (clonazepam), and halcion (triazolam) are usually ones pharmacies issue warnings with since they are all metabolized by oxidation. Less drug metabolized = more in your system and for longer. These enzymes are still being researched and there is clinical evidence that the effects of THC, fentanyl, barbituates, DXM, amphetamine and other shit may be enhanced by drinking grapefruit juice and other Cytochrome P450 inhibitors. Quercetin is a very strong inhibitor (much stronger than fruit juice) of these enzymes that can be found in any grocery store's health foods aile ;)

I've NEVER noticed a difference when taking this, or any other "potentiators" with opiates. Placebo probably is at work here. I understand it does inhibit that enzyme that helps break down certain drugs, but it doesn't work with every single drug/opiate.

Like I said, it didn't help me enough that I would ever consider drinking a nasty ass glass of GFJ again to try it.

Also, i0-techno, Pomegranate juice doesn't have the same effect as GFJ does. Not to mention if it did, there would be warnings on my meds about it, like there are about GFJ. If you have any proof to this, or if anyone does, please show me.

that sounds more like placebo than actually working.. if you hope and intend for something to work.. of course its gonna work... in your mind
