In my experience, trolling Christians is rather difficult. They are terrified by everything and set up all kinds of barriers to protect themselves. Some communities screen posts before they get shown, and in others moderators will just remove anything that isn't praise, science-bashing, questions about interpreting the Bible, prayer requests, or empty inspirational bullshit. And even if you try to sneak by, they can smell the trolls. And as trolls, let me tell you, most of you will stink. Though sometimes if you're really persistent, they'll let you through because they don't expect any troll to be that dedicated. But I guess it's just what I do. And no matter what you do, they will always team up against you, until they end up sticking their proverbial fingers in their proverbial ears. I am honestly disturbed by their incredible difficulty understanding even basic arguments or recognizing the point you're trying to make if ever it doesn't fit their thinking - they always have a non-sequitur to throw back at you. The forum in question seems to be pretty typical. I can't be bothered to create an account, but the fact that you can't even READ the forum without logging in just tells me they have hedged themselves in, and they have bigger hedges than most. And a quick look at their rules confirms it. One rule in particular is rather telling: The fact that they group trolling with ordinary spam tells me that 1) it's extremely common there (or has been in the past), 2) they don't think much of it, and 3) they will sooner delete it than argue. As much as I think these people deserve to be trolled, I don't think it's worth the effort. They're just not going to bite, especially for the amateurs around here. If I had more time, I'd probably give it a shot using one or both of my super-awesome trolling alter-egos that I use elsewhere (not here - I like this place), but time is something I don't have enough of as it is. p.s. I go to a Christian university. I like to leave pagan symbols and satanic messages around when people aren't looking.
Honestly, I really only see crazy christians from afar. I Dont have any personal experience with them.
pft, no one appreciates the biblical judge reference and the post on judging. I doubt any of them will notice it either.

I posted a theological question. not a bash, just a difference of opinion. and got banned, because I (a christian) was "christian bashing"{ I was simply questioning their interpretation of the bible. fucking fucks.
it's the nature of the beast. funny, the people i've known in the past MOST open to hearing differing oppinions, and questioning their beliefs, were christians in seminary. their attitude was that their faith was to be tested as a lifelong endeavor, and no question, no matter how "blasphemous" or edgy or provocative it may be was off limits. and to be honest, i got a lot of really thoughtful, really intriguing answers. and even some of them were fundamentalists - just not fucking idiots.
and, there was no appreciation for the reference made in my user name ehud left hand fucking assholes don't know their old testament.
