why man.. Boston is a cool city unless you just don't want to be anywhere near face_eater... in which case that's just rude!!!
I live & work at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon...its a little chilly here now, but less crowded and hotel rooms are cheaper during the Winter. Or maybe you might like to visit the North Rim during the Summer....The North Rim is alot less crowded then the South Rim with less places to eat & shop.
When I lived in AZ, we used to camp there pretty often. It's incredibly beautiful. I want to ride the rapids some time.
I love both of these places. Just watch out for bears up at Cohutta. I'm not really sure what you would want to see. I hate most cities...but that's because I hate being surrounded by people. I only go to Atlanta for the High.
I like Boston too...but then maybe I'm wierd cuz I also liked Tampa,FL when I lived there & visiting Vegas.
Pacific Northwest: Seattle, Portland, VANCOUVER!!! Drink coffee, and drive along the coast in BC 'cause it's beautiful. Western Montana: Big mountains, open sky. nobody there. sweet. The South: Savannah is a cool cool city. Key West is real neat, sorta touristy though. The Keys are awesome if you can manage to get away from the swarms. St Augustine is interesting for a stop. Don't go to Miami. There are some neat places on the Gulf Coast. You wouldn't miss much by skipping the Northeast completely.
