AHAHA That show is still on?!!? I actually got that reference. Used to watch it with my parents when I was little.
Fable II has been my "drug-like" game of choice. it's what makes me excited to come home at night. hahahaha
You just need to find a game YOU like. There's something for everyone. I personally love games where I need to talk to a lot of people, find things, solve puzzles and the fighting is not overwhelming. Like Zelda But I also like some fighting games, John has this Ninja Gaiden game for DS. I played it more than him. It's on the last boss and no matter what I do I cannot kill her! ARGH. I should pick it up again.
I get sucked into Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I just stopped playing it after I realized that Lynsey thinks they are kids(So not). I know I will eventually be on a ship for 6 months and I might get three days a month on dry land. I will get my Oblivion fix then.
I also really like Never Winter Nights, we have it on the computer. It's really cool, but I kinda lost interest awhile ago, I was confused about what I needed to do.
I'd like to point out that not everybody smokes pot for recreation. Some of us smoke it because it makes us sane. Literally.
Easties is awesome, I'm totally addicted. I normally don't have time to watch it on weekdays but they show the omnibus on a Sunday afternoon and watching that is just glorious, hahah. Does that sound sad.. oh well. Yeah I don't think they'll ever get rid of that show, it's just too popular around here.
That's what they were playing here last night. I dunno, I just don't have attention span to focus on video games for long enough to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing and then I just get bored and frustrated. Oh well, I can live with that. I do like Singstar though, does that count..
Games just don't hold much interest for me. Even as a kid board games (Monopoly, Clue, Scrabble, etc.) bored me. Video games are no different for me.
when I was younger I sort of had a video game addiction. me and my best friend would have sleepovers and just play for like, 10 hours straight. I guess the attraction is, you buy the system/games, and then afterwards can have hours of fun without having to spend more money (as opposed to going to play poker or going bowling or something.) Not to mention you can play in your living room, sitting in your underwear. and while drunk. and "winning" is always fun, the ultimate goal. :cheers2: I definitely understand the video game attraction.
