Someone explain the attraction of videogames to me. :toetap05: My fiance and his mates have been playing this stupid Smackdown vs. Raw on xbox alllll evening. I found it entertaining for about 3 minutes, just don't get the point. And the worst thing is I missed Eastenders because of that crap.
they are like crack. it takes about half an hour or an hour to get hooked, cause you have to really be into the challenge, but also feel like you're making progress... and then you just can't stop.
i love wrestling games, but only if they have a good create-a-wrestler mode. it's boring as hell playing with actual wrestlers, but a royal rumble with 30 created freaks is fucking great. anyway, everyone likes different things. i don't see the attraction of getting online and talking about my fiance nonstop, but i don't usually complain about others doing it...
hahahhahah I thought I was the only one who did that man you should see some of my crazy fuckers i created, they're so bad ass!!!
Well, Explain the attraction to smoking pot. Or the attraction to shopping, Or the attraction to drinking. Or the attraction to tv, Or the attraction to anything else that people do. It is the same as everything else but some people don't take the time to actually open their eyes and look at everything else people do. Some people like to play video games for fun, Or to escape from their actual life so they go and play a game for an hour. Same reason why people smoke pot I assume? A lot of people make it come out that way at least.
There is a game out there for everyone, you just haven't found yours, yet, Kozmic. Mine is Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. Haha, I've been playing the shit out of Banjo-Tooie, so that's where I disappear to for so long all the time, lol.
First time I ever played them was on a c64 but whe I got a nintendo I got them, and gave them away years ago. I was told today with the papers and such the old NES stuff is worth money and that LSL, Strip Pokr and another are the rare games.
I love video games, enjoy computer games more though... I remember one of my favorite games for SNES was Another World (Out of this World..).. One great game... I remember playing Pit Fall and River Raid on my Atari, and then when we got a nintendo it was like a whole other world, I still have my SNES, have a PS2, Wii and xbox, I'd say every weekend I play some video games on one of those systems.. I will always love computer games more though...
Some people just don't give video games a fair chance. And I guess maybe they aren't for everyone, but it is just another form of entertainment like movies or tv. Condemning video games in general is kind of silly, it would be like doing the same with tv or anything else out there.
the attraction? idk. some are really fucking fun, though. i dont like most of them, but some are good...then some are amazing i like my ps2, but i'm glad i got it used instead of new. i paid about 70 bucks for the console, and buy most of my games used, too, so it's way cheaper, especially since i'm not a "serious" gamer and tend to stay one generation behind everyone else to save money. right now my favorite is okami, which is a lot like zelda but imo way cooler. i also really like this sword fighting game called kengo, and GTA is ok but i get tired of it quickly katamari is fun, i think i need to get it for myself
