What are eveyones opinion on Dave Matthews Band. They have been around for several years now, and it seems like people really enjoy them or have no interest. What about you?
everyones like OMG I LOOOVE THE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND!!!!!one!!!!eleven however, i find them rather annoying
They are great. One of my secret bands. I can't say anything because people think they're for wussies lol. I like some of them. American Baby, Dream Girl, ect. those are great.
Ya know I never really gave em a shot and always just said I didn't like them but they do have a lot of talent. Someone made me listen to Stay (Wasting Time) a couple years ago and, being a drummer, I fell in love with the drummer. I picked up a drum book and its by far the most challenging music I've read. And I hear a lot of great things about their shows. This guy I met at a string band, who's been a huge Deadhead for years, been to many many festivals and shows, says their live show is great.
I love dave cause i grew up listenin to him. I went to alpine last year to see them and there were a lot of drunk kids that didnt really seem to care about the music, it wasnt my scene but i still appreciate their sound.
my sister has been a huge fan for like 6 or 7 years now..... and I've heard them the entire time and cannot get into them, at all and it's funny because around when she got into them, I got into Radiohead.. and she thinks Radiohead is annoying/boring they are both bands that people either love or hate.
Ha...that´s interesting, cos I´m not fan of DMB, but I like Radiohead, as well But I still think that Radiohead´s songs have except great lyrics also very deep and magical mood.
it was funny a couple years back they drove tour bus/rv over a grated bridge and released their septic tanks and a ferry boat happened to be underneath. needless to say some people got 'crapped' on.
I love the DMB, but they hit their prime in 1995 with the Crash album. They need to return their original sound.
