haha no I don't have that one... yet! that pedal really is sick. i do have this one though *edit* hells yeah we be jammin'
noice. dean's got this: and this: and a cry baby and another boss distortion pedal. pedals are so much fun. i especially like the cry baby.
yeah I was actually looking at the drive pedal just now. how is it live? I've got a cry baby too and it's ok. It's odd it's exactly the same model number and everything of one that I used to play out of and that one was fucking unbelievable. The sweep pot is too big or something on mine. it's much harder to keep it in the "sweet zone"... still a hella nice wah for sure. for distortion i've just been using my amp and a home made tube screamer that actually sounds amazing. oh yeah and this pedal is super duper too although i think mine died
that drive distortion pedal is great though it was pretty expensive. i'm sure dean could go into more detail about it. personally i mostly stick to acoustic it was damn expensive though, you boys and your toys.
yeah i know... it's a disease. although my acoustic got sold for the move. my next major musical purchase will be an acoustic. i'm waiting on this baby.
dean has a gorgeous martin i'm sure he has told you about. for some reason he always says "her name is dave"
lol that's awesome. yeah this guitar was just one of those "clicks" i've played much more expensive guitars, but this one just has my name on it. the tone was pretty much made for me. i'm excited about picking it up. what do you play with? i used to have a carvin but the sound was too big and bright for me not to mention the action sucked.
i play deans guitar, it rocks. if he's playing it i will play this yamaha, it's ok. the action sucks but i put ultra thin strings on it which helps. i have a classical guitar dean got me in barcelona, but truth be told he plays it more than i do... i can't make it sound as pretty as he does, he is a finger picking god.
semi-hollow? and z, you know with a little practice amazingness happens. although I have no right hand. i'm more of a pincher than a finger picker... too much jazz i guess.
yep, practice does seem to help. it's just daunting when i have mr. awesome next to me coming up with these fantastic riffs when i can barely piece a song together. but i've written a few on my own and it helps that i am a good singer and writer..
