I don't dig her music myself but she's about 10000x more talented than most women in pop. I did like that duet she did with Alejandro Sanz.

Plus she's hot.

 

I hate the way she looks now. Her hair is ugly, her clothes are ugly. She looked way better before and her songs were better, not like really good, just better

this was BEFORE decemberunderground (which is the gayest album on earth!) when their album sing the sorrow came out.

I dont know about you, but I dont judge the quality of music differently just because of the person's sex.
Also someone's ability to dance doesnt make the music any better, in fact is usually a proof that they need to distract the audience from the actual song.
Still there are plenty of female musicians who are actually talented and make good music.
Joanna Newson comes to mind. Laety sent me her cd's the other day and is probably the only female artist I've been listening to lately. Although her music is WAY different and it's kinda crazy to compare one thing with another. I also always liked Fiona Apple.

 

Actually I judge their appeal.I dont think there's anything worse than a guy sounding like a girl on vocals.

There are much less girls I admire musically than guys.
But seriously , I think Shakira oozes talent.Partic on her more rock type stuff.

If they're attractive or can dance , then yeah they're more "watchable" but it wouldnt change my opinion of their writing/singing skills or otherwise.
I mean , Girls Aloud should be bludgeoned to death...
