I decided to Use every bit i could of the plant i grew. i ground up all the leafs of the plant and am left with a good 10 ounces or so.. everytime i make brownies ive just been throwing the leafs in the batter. gets me plenty high, but tastes like SHIT. if i were to cook it in the butter first with about an ounce of leafs then strain it, would it still taste weird? and what exactly is the procedure done for making your cannabutter

Ok, here we go. I don't have time to write a detailed method but here is the short version. Grind up the leafs and twigs, although I like to use my twigs for Green Dragon, make sure they are dry spread them out on a baking sheet. Pre heat the oven to 350. Start a double boiler of butter, I would use at least a pound. Put the sheet pan in the oven for 10 minutes or until you can start to smell it. Put this into the melted butter and stir for about 20 minuites on high heat. Strain and the butter to take out the plant material. Then it is ready to go. You can use it right away.

Get your martha stewart on and google it. They're usually used to avoid burning chocolate and such.

You can rig one, too. Just take a normal pot and boil some water in it. Place a metal mixing bowl ontop of the pot of boiling water. Melt the butter in the bowl. That way it never gets hotter than the steam and doesn't degrade THC.
