I finally found out who Russell Brand is!

I'm too cool to even check out his standup routine. That would probably make me gay to watch it, and I personally like vaginas way too much for that.

My favourite Brand gag from his podcast was when he refered to the two deadly sins gluttony and greed as basically being the same sin, he called them the deadly synonym LOL.

I think he is a very witty and intelligent bloke, but I'm not a huge fan.

I had a quick scan through his "booky wook" and it seemed surprisingly well written, although I wouldn't put him in the same league as Will Self.

I dunno. I thought he was hilarious in Forgetting Sarah Marshall early this year, one of the best parts of the film. I haven't seen any of his stand-up comedy but I heard about the big fiasco he had with a prank call he made on a British radio show or something...pissed a lot of people off, I guess.

 

Compared to Sasha Baron Cohen , he was utterly annoyingly shite on the MTV awards.Ok he's passable in interviews and other stuff but nothing special.
Seems like typical BBC crony shit really him getting big jobs.

Just a whole load of hype about dissing some old bloke and his hooker granddaughter IMO.

Andrew Sachs was on Countdown today, and he is getting a part in Coronation Street playing Norris' dad.

Looks like someone's career has benefitted from all the hype, as for his grand daughter, well I think it is still only randy men who are interested in her, hence the fact she is still a member of the world famous satanic sluts.

It's still not right what he did, and it was Jonathon Ross who started it off, he left Brand in an awkward position (fnar fnar). Georgina was milking the fuck out of the situation though, as the papers sightly she say she's a dirty hooker who wanted filthy lucre.
