since the last brush we've gotten the best at boosting morale. bring on the lolcats and demotivation cards

i want the economy to collapse for several reasons. as long as it doesnt turn into a dictatorship or police state its all good.
Nothing good will come of the economy collapsing. The only people I can see wanting it to collapse, are those with nothing to begin with.
I think we can learn from the elven race. And adopt the craft way of life. Everyone should first learn how to be attentive and then apply themselves full force to a particular craft.
Are talking about 1st edition elves or 3rd edition elves ? Elves from 1st edition rock, especially Drow from Unearthed Arcana. 3rd edition elves are a bit lame.
Hm..... giant dense populations, with guns, who are very confused and bound for civil conflict? Mass rapings / murders/ exploitation? Sounds like great soil for a police state to grow up on.
If the economy collaspes we're prety much fucked, it'll be like the great depression all over again, crime will go up as money is to be found scarce.
was referring to these folk and their background here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eldar_(Warhammer_40,000)#The_Fall
You know what you do if that seems to be occurring? You tell the pigs to go the fuck home or they get roasted at the stake for not getting a life of their own.
If the economy falls we all need to get green thumbs and localize where there is a lot of land away from shore that can be cultivated and have the homes or whatever surrounding that. We need to understand that the knowledge is out there, no government official can teach you how to survive, instinct does that and the sooner you see the reason why shit is fucked up is because of meddlesome people in addition to mob mental humans, the quicker we can cut the shit and start living again and not worrying about dying, fucking ridiculous!
That's what I've been thinking all along. Ya think the big guy upstairs might be telling us something, like maybe it's time to realign our priorities? If we collectively reject the corporate mentality, this ridiculous notion that we need to be a slave to the man to get ahead, we might get somewhere. Scale back on consumption, pay as you go and don't finance anything if you can help it, and the bankers who got us into this mess will go out of business, or at least they won't have as much control over us and our economy. Money won't buy you security, self sufficiency will.
I don't neccesarily hope it will collapse, but I'm really curious as to what kind of shit would go down if it did... I think it would be quite interesting.
Fuck it all. We need to find a commune somewhere and wait it out. The economy sucks but it's teaching me a lot. I'm finding out how to live on $5 a week. I've always loved beans and rice though.
