    i've got:

    change your brain,
    your brain is god,
    evolutionary agents,
    musings on human metamorphoses,
turn on tune in drop out,
and, the tibetan book of the dead

to be honest I found a lot of them repetitive and uninteresting to read.

there is decent information in there but not for somebody who has been following the more contemporary avenue of that same information

i'd keep turn on tune in drop out if i had to throw out the rest :p some friends have enjoyed the tibetan book of the dead - said it helped with their early tripping days. i found it very easy to put down myself.

    Exospychology.

if you want classic, far out leary check this out. its basically maps out his entire theory on consciousness, evolution, and the future. it was written right in between the drug years and his internet obsession in the 80's. so, in my opinion its the height of his intellectual work. it is very technological, and even puts down the hippies who he said got stuck in 5th circuit self indulgent pleasure patterns and were going back in time instead of forward. the books not for everybody

its the height of his intellectual work except of course, when he was a harvard psychology proffesor, writing theories on personality. but then in the 60's he went out to make those discoveries through his own experience. the psychology background put his psychedelic experiences in a framework that he could study and communicate in an overall scientific way. although he got involved with the tibetan book of the dead and other occult fascinations, he later said these were purely symbolic, models of experience, and weren't neccesary. in exopsychology, he comes back to his original field, but now he's talking about the psychology of living beyond our womb planet. basically, exopsychology is the book wher tim breaks it down - where we come from, where we're at, and where we're going

Leary was good, but he wasn't full way. Kesey was the man.

The Politics of Ecstasy was very good! A bit dry in some parts (I skipped a couple of chapters) but overall very informative and interesting :)

'The Politics of Ecstasy'. Slightly repetitive at times but it's still a great book. :)
